The art looks so good and the movement is so smooth! But i wasn't able to finish the first level though... But i also like the animations :)

In what way does your game fit the theme?
Whenever you pick up powerups, you are rewound back to spawn.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything done myself, except for music

That was an awesome satisfying game! The physics is amazing, pure entertainment. I'm a big fan of your works!
Movement feels very meh and some of the jumps are really obnoxious, sliding can be really awkward and combat has just enough "juice" to feel good but past that the actual combat is very unsatisfying. It feels like you spent a lot of time on polishing the visual design but there's unsatisfying combat, movement issues, an overly hard first jump, and it just feels like you copy and pasted an outdated version of karlson's movement and ragdoll code that you already had and changed the weapon asset.
Sliding sometimes goes at random angles too and feels clumsy. There's placeholder texts, NaNs, timer that doesn't format itself to the right decimal places.
The rewinding of the game is honestly just frustrating, you may as well be killing the player when they get a powerup and respawning them. It might have been better to make it a plot element or something instead of just ham fisting rewinding into a design for a game you already made and just re mapped for the jam where rewinding didn't really fit in.
It feels very impressive and polished at first, but the experience unwinds as you go.
This is just a game you made over several months (Karlson) with a different level.
Lacks polish but the level designs are great. Good luck!
edit: played it again this morning and movement just feels off, I can't control the character in such a jump heavy game that requires precise landing and maneuvers cause it keeps sliding around.
Right off the bat, I'm seeing the placeholder text on your youtube buttons is still there. You have a NaN label showing up over every level in the select screen. The timer in each level is not animating correctly for me either. The gameplay is smooth and the controls feel great, other than sliding. I would map sliding to something more natural, like LShift. While rewinding is part of the game, it doesn't feel mandatory. Rewinding just takes me back to the start.
Wow dani, amazing job here! It's the first time i actually play one of your games, and oh boy if it feels good. pritty solid idea, too, interesting!
if you want to give a try to my submission too, I'd really appriciate it.
Remember that in the third level due to a bug it doesn't show up the "press shift to rewind" text https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/724112?before=2#post-1804458
Really awesome game! I found the milk which is "harder to find than karlson's release date" :D
I would really appreciate if if you could have a look at my game as well
Had a lot of fun trying this out, and nice of you to drop by on stream :)
The game had my heart racing while playing, first game in the jam to do that.
My favorite part would be the arrows flying at you, the audio/visual combo is quit cool.
The warp back and movement made my balance go wheeee :)
Nice and original game. I've never seen that "suction" mechanic before, it's cool and well implemented. Movements are fluid and music is great.
