A bit late, but I just discovered this entry. Really nice work! I enjoyed very much the presentation, as well as the puzzles. I just wished there was a console history, or a way to just "toggle" doors. Typing "close" and "open" in the middle of action is quite tricky.^^ But otherwise, really cool game!

How does your game fit the theme?
You don't use a classic controller, you play using a command prompt, without direct control on the ingredients. Take out the viruses before the computer gets out of control.

I didn't replay the original levels, but went straight to the new ones. The first couple of new levels are too easy. Then B en C require very accurate timing. Level D is overwhelming at first, but not difficult with a bit of trial and error.
It all felt a bit underwhelming compared to the original jam version. I also noticed that you changed some of the commands like "open" and "close" to "opn" and "cls". That does make it faster to enter commands, but it would be nice if you still accepted the old commands. On the whole, I think you made it too easy. I liked having to frantically type in commands in the original. Though, it is nice that the error sound is not as loud.
Thanks for your feedback! Yes I made the game easier enough to enable more players to get to the last levels. A lot of them were slow typers and did not achieve until level 4. I made this choice because I really wanted to make slow typing and not to good players really feel like a clever hacker. The first levels are here so the player can learn the new RM mechanics and it's effect (kill virus, then kill several virus not connect, then also kill anti-virus) maybe it's a bit too much introductory levels. There's certainly a good middle ground I can find by further balancing when I'll have the time. Thanks a lot for your constructive feedback. :)
It's a good game. I personally found the last level too easy, it's kinda anticlimactic since it's easier than the preceding ones. People have different experiences with levels so what I found easy might be difficult for others but I still think it doesn't provide closure.
Is the virus floating downwards into the void on "boot" in E_hackerman intentional?
Thanks for trying the new version! Yes it's intentionnal, the game is over at this point. And yes you're right the last level is very easy (as si the 5th). My goal here was to make a puzzle that seem complex but in the end is not, I've seen some players feeling very clever after that. But if you were frustrated, maybe it's not that good. Thanks for the feedback. :)

Clever use of Unity's Post Processing features. (this was made in unity, right? I'm not crazy?)
