How does your game fit the theme?
You're on patrol for a closed beach. The amount of unwelcome visitors, how stubborn they are to leave, and whether and when you get assistance from your guard dogs, is out of your control. As more visitors approach, you will have to be more frantic to stop them until the situation goes... out of control.

Duude, I love this little game so much. That ending had me laughing out loud (the bad ending, where everything goes out of control.) It's great to see how much you can do with such a little concept. Here are a few tips though: I would have liked it if the people walking back had a slightly different color or something than the people walking forwards, as it can get really hard to see who's going where if there's a big mass of people! Also, you have an indicator + sound effects for when you click on someone, but I would like to know what the status of that person might be (how many clicks before he leaves?) Maybe you could add something like different people with different resistance levels, like the guy with the sunhat needing more clicks etc. Anyway, super cool little concept, good job on making this!

I like the twist on the classic flash game style shooter that doesn't involve shooting, but I would have liked to see more added to that mechanic. For example, something related to the theme making the people turn away besides the ding sound. I think this game could be really fun if you kept building away from the standard genre shooter this reminds me of. Great work!

I love the presentation, particularly the sound design, but the gameplay loop itself is quite monotonous, yet requires more mouse-hand dexterity to hold out for longer than 1.5 min... I do, however, like the small touches like certain beachers needing multiple clicks and the ones going back also pushing back the whole stack directly behind them -- that gives the game a more strategic feel. Still, I'd like to have more tools for crowd control -- perhaps coupled with some progression mechanics? One that I can think of off the top of my head is a megaphone that would affect all beachers within a small radius around the click point. Another way to make the gameplay more strategic is to keep a kernel of dogs and sick them only one the beachers who are too close to the line, with some limits on how many dogs can be out at once and how fast they come back.

I liked the frantic pace of this game, and I enjoyed the aesthetics as well. Hanging on for five whole minutes seems nearly impossible; maybe the game would benefit from more guard dogs spawning at the very beginning. I did love the idea that some of the would-be beachgoers pretend to not understand you and keep on running, which is funny and contributes  very well to the out-of-control feel.

This feels like a classic arcade game, with simple gameplay and ever-increasing challenge. I kept waiting for it to ask me to insert a quarter to buy some breathing room, haha. It definitely captures the feeling of an out-of-control situation, so it fits the jam theme well. The gameplay itself may be too simple—it gets tedious fast, and it'd be hard to sustain interest for the requested five minutes, even if the difficulty didn't ramp up so fast as to make that practically impossible. I'd suggest reducing the duration to win (maybe a minute? or two at the most), as well as decreasing the difficulty slope, and maybe adding another mechanic or two (that you do have control over). I loved the presentation. The audio is simple and effective, and the animation and art is delightful, especially the way visitors' heads hang as they leave, and the way the dogs run them off. It would be nice to indicate visually somehow how much persuasion a visitor will need—I can see how not revealing that information contributes to the out-of-control feeling, but it was mostly frustrating, and I think the number of visitors is sufficient to overwhelm. The gameplay is good, but a little bit repetitive and the idea is original. But the presentation is the part that most impressed me. There are a lot of small details like the shark swimming behind or the movement of the wooden sign. Quite good in general.

Very interesting theme adaptation, sounds and graphics are perfectly fine.

Gameplay is fun, but lacks variation, it's a lot of just clicking on enemis, maybe implement some enemis were you would have to swipe in different directions in order to stop them.
