I was surprised by how this game made me smile. The effect of the two main characters being linked and having that delay in reaction on the second character really made for some interesting gameplay. A good start. Definitely something to build on. Oh and the backwards gyrating turtle really made my day.
Nice jump and run. great work on creating it. Thanks for the game.
It reminded me of Mickey Mousecapade on NES.
And that is a good thing. ;)
Nice entry! There are a bunch of levels and enemy variety!! Great Job!
Interesting twist on Super Mario with having a second character that mirrors your inputs but with a slight delay. Though, I did feel like too many of the levels felt too similar to one another. I do appreciate the ability to skip levels so, after losing interest in the early levels, I skipped ahead to the last level and the difficulty really ramped up with the new enemy types that appear later. That really tested my ability to time my jumping and movements. I do wish there was some background music. I did find it odd that only the first level seemed to have brick blocks and a power up. I did play around 15 or so levels before I started skipping and didn't notice the power-up appear in any of those levels. Nice take on the theme!
Fun game! It's a cool idea with the two foxes! Would you rate mine?
If this indeed a first game, awesome job. I used pygame myself a little before moving on to the game engines. Love the work
Quite nice Super Mario clone. :)
Good job
Super cute, I like that you have to manage the other fox's health as well, lest it can kill you (I was surprised when it launched a turtle shell into me!). I think a better way of controlling both at the same time would make this a really cool concept that you could do a lot with. Great start.
Cute first game! Had fun playing around with the connection mechanic.
I think you did yourself a disservice with the AI generated cover image tho. It read as AI to me immediately and made me almost not click on it. It tends to read a little "cheap/fake" and doesn't represent your actual game. When I saw your actual game art I was very charmed by it. I think it's really nice!
Interesting :) It really feels like playing Mario, but with a companion behind you helping search for the shroom in the blocks :D Keep it up! I’m curious — what engine was it made in?
This is a nice first game. It was a fun challenge trying to control two characters at once. Good job, and I hope you continue to make games in the future.
Nice on finishing, I like the twist of connection you had here.
A nice twist on the super mario platformer. That second player made things challenging. That's a lot of levels for such a short jam!
yeah i should spent less time on make levels and maybe more on make better character XD
i think it’s great work for a first game.. the basic are there and it has a good traditional feel
Fun and familiar. Nice work!
Great job! Nice one adding the connections theme into a mario style game.
Cute little platformer! Great first game -- I liked it a lot and it was easy to keep going and playing. Great job
Cool idea, I was waiting for some mechanics/puzzles to have more interactions with second character. Like a separate road/way which splits characters apart to proceed. Well done on finishing the game in time!
