Everything feels perfect! What a lovely game
Thank you for the kind words.
My favorite detail is the how the little robot at the bottom strains so hard to carry those plugs, fulfill his commands, and save all his little buddies. Absolute hero.
Yeah, he's a trooper alright. And carrying a big plug is much, much heavier than the usual bits and bytes!
Impressive, I really loved this game. I liked how you interpreted the theme. The puzzles are fun, balanced, and satisfying, even just watching the little robots walk around.
The music can get a bit annoying after a while, but it actually fits the game very well. I don't think adding a speed-up button is necessary, but it is not a bad idea, and I think it would be fairly easy to implement in your game.
I also liked how every level introduced a new way of using the plugs. Great work!
Unfortunately, I couldn't finish the game. I reached this level and couldn't beat it.
Thanks for playing our game, you nearly made it to the end!
HINT: the pause plug freezes the game, allowing you to think about your next move without rush, and then just keep that plug for that socket and unplug it to make the patchlings move, and plug it back in to change any other plug around. Then pause the patchlings whenever they get close to either the red or blue platform so you can send that specific platform to where it needs to be :)
(I also struggled with this level hahaha)
Really fun well done :)
Thanks for playing our game!
So good. If there was more levels I'd probably play it all day. Love the art style and music. First few levels felt a bit slow but the later ones were really fun!
Thanks. It was fun to do pixelart again and experiment with making music. I listened to a lot of chiptune for inspiration.
Great connection to the theme, it was really cute. I would have like a couple more levels and like other's have said a fast forward button would be nice, but still a cool game. Nice job!
EDIT: I'm an idiot an pressed the back to menu button on accident after the third level and thought that was it and was confused. Went back to play the rest (including the bonus level). I'm satisfied now haha
Thanks! The fast-forward will be added after the Jam by our programmers.
This works really well, I love the art style, the separated gameplay and the mechanics, Very well done.
Thanks, we’re happy to hear that!
Very nice puzzle game! The audio, visuals, and mechanics work really well together, and overall it was a lot of fun to play. Great job!
Thank you!
Very nice game, great idea, the only thing is that the game feels a bit slow
Thanks for playing our game. A fast forwards button is coming when the jam's over.
pretty nice game tbh links really well with the theme and the storyline is cool and overall a pretty thoughful and unique game
Thanks for the nice words!
Nostalgiaaa!!!!!! Very nice game design!
Thank you!
10/10 packet loss simulation. Had a lot of fun playing this game ^^
I hope you didn't have a lot of dropped packets ;)) Thanks for giving it a try.
This is a super cute game! Great job sticking to the theme. This is really unique and reminds me of a Neopets minigame I used to LOVE steering the plushies into the toy box. Some levels were really challenging so kudos!
Thanks for the kind words! I loved playing those neopets games back in the day. We based this a bit on the very very old game 'lemmings', which i think the neopets game also took some inspiration from.
I really like the sprites and levels and connection to the theme. As with the other comments +1 on the speed up, but maybe it's just an immersion thing because downloads used to be that slow before ;D
Thanks! The sprites were my favourite part to make.
LOVED this! Definitely one of my favourites from the jam. I agree with others on the game’s page and here that the Patchlings move a little too slow, once you’ve solved the puzzle it can be painful to watch them get to the end - although I get that it’s part of the intended experience! Downloads were so slow back in the day. Still, I feel that a fast forward button would be nice, and hopefully an easy one to implement too. Well done on completing the jam! Feel free to try out my game if you like :)
Waw Thank you! The fast forward button comes when the jam's over, that was an oversight from us. I'm going to try out your game as well.
Thanks for the nice words and feedback!
Nice lemmings-like. Cute graphics and very fun. :)
Thanks!
I think that it was fun but the people are a bit to slow.
Yea, i agree something we should have noticed, some speed controls. Thanks for the play.
Great aesthetics and really cool take on Lemmings.
Thanks man, lemmings was a formative game for me and definately was an inspiration.
This game is amazing! I really liked the aesthetic of old windows and the mechanics were great! The only bad thing is that there were no SFX or Music when I was playing the game. Also, like what LostLibrarian said, you should implement a fast-forwarding system to make the game less boring! Well done!
Oh, that’s a bummer. This is the first report we’ve had about missing audio, since the game does include quite a bit of music and SFX. We’ll keep an eye out for more reports like this.
Thank you for playing and for the feedback!
What do you mean no sfx or music? We made a chiptune track for it, possibly you missed it? Or do you mean something else? Agreed on the fast forward :) thanks for the kind words.
I really love the presentation, it feels like one coherent game for both theme and execution.
One mild critic would be the long waiting time before "guessing the solution" and "end of the level". Given the slow walk speed, it feels annoying to wait for one more cycle. Would love a way to either speed up or an automatic faster end of the level.
Outside of that - great work! :)
Yeah, our programmer is planning to add a fast-forward after the rating period. That's an oversight we're eager to fix. :)
