Thanks so much for playing. I will try to make an easier mode so that it is accessible to more players

Thanks for playing I'm glad you enjoyed. The music was from Pixabay: https://pixabay.com/music/acoustic-group-pirate-bay-guitar-376548/

I played yours it was so good! Hopefully you have time to play mine I’d love your feedback: https://itch.io/jam/brainless-mini-game-jam/rate/4187894

Ahh sorry it lagged, hopefully you were able to try the downloadable version

Here’s my game! Warning some say it might be addictive: https://itch.io/jam/brainless-mini-game-jam/rate/4187894

thank you for playing :) I’m happy you liked it

I’m so happy you liked it! Hopefully you can play test it in a future build :)

Hey! I've played and rated and left a comment :). If you have time to play mine I'd appreciate the feedback: https://itch.io/jam/brainless-mini-game-jam/rate/4187894

Great job. The animations are super clean and smooth like inserting the coin, attack animations for the enemies, level transitions. I saw in a previous comment that generation is random so that's also a really cool touch. I think it can be polished with more enemies and more balancing and you have yourself a nice little game you can release

Scored 541! THAT MAKES 10!!!! Great simple game, amazing polish, good art, and satisfying sound effects. This really could be an elementary school game with some more polish. I could see it be used on students laptops or computer lab or whatever they have these days.

Hey I already played and rated and commented on your game and it was a good clone of PvZ! Here's mine in case you haven't played it yet: https://itch.io/jam/brainless-mini-game-jam/rate/4187894

Thank you for all the kind feedback! In a later version I plan to add modifiers for the player to slow down the board so that all skill levels can play. One thing I struggle with is difficulty tuning so I remember that for the future. I hope you were able to enjoy and thanks for playing.

Thank you! Hopefully you were able to enjoy

Glad you like it, thanks for playing :)

I’ve played yours and it was great! Should be an educational game for sure. Here’s mine if you haven’t played yet: https://itch.io/jam/brainless-mini-game-jam/rate/4187894

Thank you! Yeah I definitely should've focused a bit more on the tutorial but I didn't have time :(

You're actually 100% on track with what I plan to do with this game. I want to add more enemies such as a boss that will spawn an entire line of skull blocks. And I want to have a campaign with levels with sets of enemies that you have to get through. Of course still an endless mode too! I was going to do swipe for mobile controls. I'm time tabling this project for 1-3 months and hopefully reach out to you for play testing

Thanks for playing it! Yeah I've had feedback that a tutorial is definitely needed. I will prioritize that for the first playtest when I keep working on it. I hope you were still able to hit big combos though

This is nice. It reminds me of the mobile game Ninjump

I really like it nice puzzles that I made me want to solve. My only critique would be if there was some way visually to know if I was in past and present. Otherwise good game

Good job for your first jam especially the particles. For you next one I would think of some negative pressure the player has to go against

Nice mazes I like the environment and the character. I was expecting an alien

Ahh this is so hard but I really like that you made minesweeper too

This is nice. I like the colors and the throwing mechanic is fun. The only way I was able to win was by corner cheesing

Amazing retro vibe and the controls feel good. The sounds are perfect and I love the level design. The polish work of the death falling, the score, shooting stars like kirby it all works. It's very adorable and I think you could potentially publish this with some more levels and a boss

Nice art and really cool puzzle. Nice technical achievement done when coding the puzzles and how rotations work

I really love the concept of this game. I've never seen a way to choose a path for combat like this before. Very unique and very well executed. I can definitely see it as a mobile game.

Nice job. I like how you tried to make the levels look like comic boxes. I will say the camera is a little nauseating for me both for the comic and the room. Letting go of spacebar to jump also didn't feel great for me. But I like how you added the hiding under the blanket throwback

What a silly idea. I played and left a comment! Could you play mine when you have the chance? https://itch.io/jam/brainless-mini-game-jam/rate/4187894

I got jumpscared by the music. Funny idea for a simple game to not take seriously. I wish the bottle had slightly more control when picking it up. I like how the water actually moved in the bottle what did you use to achieve that?

This is pretty nice. I like the idea of moving with typing. The variety of enemy patterns is a great touch. The gradient you achieved on the blocks is satisfying to look at. I wish there was a bit more than the black background because the music and blocks made me feel like I was at a club! If you added flashing lights and colors and visuals in the background I think the overall setting would be elevated that much more. Great work, nice and simple game.

I rated and commented on yours! Try to play mine when you can!

I think you've done a really good job for your first game. Everything feels nice to play, the characters have personalities, the levels are engaging

Really good amount of polish and satisfying to play. Don't have any notes just want to say great job

Thanks for playing! I didn't have time to make a complete tutorial so I know a lot of other players also struggled on the first playthrough. I'll work on that for the release of the game

I definitely will. I'll probably turn this into a 1-3 month project

Thank you! I've heard the same feedback about making the enemies be more noticeable. I'll think about that in future iterations. Glad you enjoyed

Super cool level design, great vibe, nice polish. The sounds are a really nice touch. I wish we had clippy
