This is really good especially that title art Oh my goodness that's just so professional looking. The sound although simpler is still pretty good also. However your choice of E for attack is really weird. Hand hurting almost immediately. Why not the space bar? Such a standard choice and so much more compatible with both left and right hand users. Because of the controls I didn't really get a chance to play it much.
Thanks for playing and dropping a review - we shall add a controls setting to the menu! I think having it on E was just a personal preference thing that went overlooked!
i like the diferent art approach but its not easy to understand how to play or whats the objective. Congratullation anyway and keep jamming.
Thanks for the review! We didn't have time to implement an interactive tutorial, unfortunately - did you find the tutorial slides unclear?
Presentation is nice. Sound is good and so is art.
Personally, I dislike to constantly move my attention between combat and clone creation. If it was your intention, then you did a fine job. If I were in your place, I would cut matter drops 1/4 and use the tank to store 4 clones. This would also solve wasting picked matter when the tank is full.
I liked discovering what different genes do. It is a shame that there are only 3 of them right now. Perhaps some rare ones like regen, attack speed or range would make it more interesting. And maybe an option to inject yourself for a temporary boost.
Thanks for the review :) The core idea of splitting attention between moving and clone creation was certainly intention - was a toss-up between doing it that way or having a pause between rounds. Extra rare genes are certainly what we want to add given more time though!
Woah this game is so cool! The art is fantastic, and the story sure has you intrigued from the get-go. I did find it kinda confusing at first with all the tutorial information, but once you get it, it's such a fun experience! Can't wait to see what more you do with this after the Jam ends fully :D
Thanks so much for playing! We've a list of things that we intend to add to the game before calling it complete - features and tweaks that we didn't have quite enough time to get polished enough for the jam :)
I like the gameplay, it turned out to be a cool game, but the shaders make the UI hard to read. Also, on wave 10 I got an error that caused the game to stop.
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it! That's a bug we haven't hit before - we will have a look into it.
And the shaders are heavily stylized, so we will be adding the ability to toggle them in the pause menu! We played around with lots of fonts to be as readable as possible, but giving the ability to toggle the shaders turned out to be the best solution without compromising the style of the game.
Nice Arcade Style
Thank you!
Astounding visual effects! I just find it a bit difficult in the beginning to find out what you have to do
The first couple of rounds could do with tuning down a touch, but glad you like the vibe! We did include a short tutorial slide section as we were too pressed for time to make a proper introductory level
Gameplay loop is nice and works, at some points it did get stale with one enemy type (probably time constraints which is okay) but the last wave I did struggle a bit and nearly lost lol, the art is the best part its AMAZING the assets are so so good! music was okay it works I guess, it does give off a space vibe but wasn't a big fan and the screen music at the start was definetly not to my liking, a VCR sound would have been a lot nicer to the ears. Im surprised a story was actually put into this with the time frame for this Jam so props I liked that. Super cool game overall and I really enjoyed it, well done guys!
Some thoughts: I don't like the infinite spawn, not sure if the spawn gets progressively delayed but I think a limit on lives that you could potentially buy back instead would suite more in my opinion, shooter enemy would be cool, and maybe clones changes colour depending on combination. also if you add a new bean? I forgot what it was called sorry, to an existing one in the slot it overrides it, not much of an issue just thought to inform the team on this, probably a feature however.
Thanks for the in-depth review - appreciate it!
A lot of the thing here (player respawn balance, ranged enemies, visual cue depending on clone upgrades) we did intend on putting in, but decided to limit scope and focus on polish first. Along with tweaking the balance, like the player respawn as you say, we are planning to continue working on the game for a few more weeks post-jam :) And overriding 'beans' was intended haha, maybe we'll add a visual cue to the fact that once you add one, it's 'locked-in'
yep no problem! Again great job and super nice game guys looking forward to seeing the final version!
Really fun game! Cool art style.
Thank you for the feedback.
I hope you enjoyed playing <3
The shaders and art are just amazing! Maybe a bit too hard in the beginning, but still very fun
Thank you for the feedback.
Yeah we agree with you and will be tinkering with the difficulty scale at some point in the future.
Just like every comment here says. Amazing game!
Thank you so much! Had a great time making it, happy to see people having fun playing :)
The art is majestic, I'd love to see the gameplay extended a little more, something like types of clones, stages, etc. It really tested my multitasking skills. So far the best I've played this jam.
Thank you so much for your feedback.
Yeah we do have some future plans to continue development including more systems, a boss fight for the end of story mode and potentially some other clone variations with different abilities.
Thank you for playing.
The look of this game is incredible!! I wasn't very good at it haha but it had me coming back to try again and again. Well done! :D
Awesome, glad you've enjoyed it!
During development the difficulty was even higher so I'm glad we tweaked it haha
Super awesome and clean visual design, very satifsfying gameplay, making a clone army is really fun, the setting is cool, and the theme integration is very great!!!
Thankya! I can see your game is a Balatro-inspired one, gonna jump straight on it
Bro the art in this is sick. Palettes, shaders all of it looks soo good!
Thank you :) we worked collaboratively in the team to get the art all done in time, glad it was worth it!
Amazing job!
Thank you, hope you enjoyed playing!
It's like call of Duty if it was Actually good, 10/10 masterpiece, #roing4life

Hello all!
I'm Luke, one of the devs working on this project.
First of all thank you in advance for testing and playing our game. Even if a single person plays we have achieved our goal and will be very happy. It has been a long week.
We would love your feedback and thoughts, we plan to continue developing the game after the Jam.
We hope you all enjoy playing and have fun. <3
