Very addicting clicker with great assets and very soothing and relaxing music with a nice SFX for clicking, the skill tree is very satisfying and I really liked this game! Amazing job guys!

Gameplay loop could use a lot of of work never felt challenged and upgraded thrust once and it got to 10000? boss fight was kinda cool but again fairly simple because of the game not being balanced. The assets were super cool though! And I really enjoyed the music I felt like the bosses defeat was imminent and it was only a matter of time like was said in the game. Overall okay if more playtesting went into the core mechanics could have been really good, still good job guys!

edit: I also liked the credit page!

The concept is very primative and simple, its enjoyable at first but very quickly gets stale. not to sure where the theme of GROWING falls in to place in this game? But seems polished for what it is other than the fact ducks spawn in boxes so its always a guaranteed -1 to health. A nice have would be a final score screen before restarting. Assets where nice however, well done and keep up the work!

The game was a nice choose your own adventure and some of the choices given were cool, the gameplay loop is simple but works well where it doesn't get stale. The music track isn't too great though it pauses in random moments and plays a tune that's not very intresting so not a big fan of it. Overall not to bad and good job!

Great Short Horror Game! No issues or bugs that I found other than screen resolution when using my wide monitor,  concept is simple yet effective, tutortial with the green image was a bit hard to understand at first and I think just the food -> monster -> money would be more effective and less confusing since you pick up on what to do along the way, for the cut mechanic I think closer to the monster would be nicer like a sign (cut -> bones -> $). Not sure what the fire does I tried throwing a banana but it seems you need some anttena thingy? Overall super fun and the pixel artstyle works and gameplay is nice,  amazing job and very well polished!

some nitpicks:

  1. I wish the bones would give more price as the monster grows but I can see that being an issue with runtime for the game.
  2. Like I mentioned before the tutorial image
  3. And the resolution of the Screen, had some issue with the UI of the buying too

Thanks for playing! I didn't think about 2 monitors so thanks for pointing this out also! The theme was GROWING and I wanted to do something different not involving plants, so the decision at the end of my brainstorm session was to make a platforming game with no jumping mechanics and that the only way to progress is by the main character growing their beard in different ways, where its the only spell he knows as a wizard.

I enjoyed the gameplay and pixelstyle of the game, I would recommend implementing a trajectory line for throws like in golf games cause its hard to predict where the rock will go. like someone else said not too sure where the theme falls in with this, but pretty nice game well done!

Thanks for the feedback man I appreciate it! I see now how you can glitch out of bounds thanks for that find! Should have made the collider smaller for the area lol. Yeah I spent a lot of the time trying to implement a good swing mechanicsm but found out a realisitic rope is super complex of a system to do so I tried as best as I could to get something somewhat capable of doing a swing that isn't completely broken. Glad you enjoyed the model! its kinda what I was going for with my limited blender skills :D

The art is really cool and I like the icon and menu picture! but no tutorial or explanation on what to do what so ever so the gameplay is confusing lol

Thats okay, the time frame was very short, so you did a goob job overall! Just wanted to let you know my thoughts and what could be improved to make it even better

the menu is super cool I really liked it! The SFX is nice aswell and the music is okay not really a fan of it, the chef character is nice also! As a simple platformer it works, remind me of those rage games that try and kill you in the style you went for. I got stuck on the 3rd level I understand Im suppose to ride the beams but it didn't seem to work, but I could be missing something. Overall pretty decent but could use some work, good job!

the art looks cool and the music is nice! gameplay loop needs lots of work I think, if more time and play testing were to go in this game could be really fun! what I mean is you can just spam the plant seed button with the watering can, so you should have some cool down for this in bottom right of screen maybe? movement feels stale where he moves per square but moves freely, I think you should choose one or the other but this could just be an issue with allignment with spriteMaps. I'm really not a fan of the spoon feeding at the start explaining what to do with screenshots, I think a tutorial would have been nicer. Overall good effort and keep practicing!

Super fun game! Love the 3d assets  reminds me of mobile games which can get addicting so good job!

For 3 days I think this is very nice, I did enjoy the last level's puzzle! Sprites are great and music is so nice and super soothing and relaxing so good job! Quite a few bugs lol but to be expected with little playtesting I assume

  1. Box needs to be handled with care or it goes flying or gets stuck easy
  2.  in the second level the wall doesnt block the black and you can scooch inside without pressing the button
  3. I got stuck on the 3rd level a few times and needed to restart the full game so a restart button for a level would be nice (but time restrictions so understandable)

I really enjoyed this concept and I think this could be my favourite twist on the GROWING theme so well done! I hope the patch was done before submission cause Im not a fan of changing source material after Jam end time. You can tell your friend Michael his voice acting was great and he should persue a career in it lol. Overall Really enjoyed the gameplay and the assets and sounds where amazing, some music would have put this all together I think! I also found this purple object so not sure if this was for debugging purposes lol.

yep no problem! Again great job and super nice game guys looking forward to seeing the final version!

I like the animations and the SFX are super cool! Think you meant for controls A - Left and D - Right lol, also you need to fullscreen to see the full game so I think mentioning this in description is worthwhile since I was confused at first lol. If you spam the switch button you can basically fly up lol. I did like the platforming Idea though with the different sizes!

pretty nice pixel art which I like! could do maybe with some animation to spice things up a bit. The game loop is understandable, wish it had some kind of background music or even SFX. other than that not much too add super nice stuff and well done guys!

Super cool concept and I really like these types of games (remind me a lot of "dave the diver" durning the night shifts) the animations and environments are great and gameplay loop is nice! I really liked this!

Some thoughts: I picked up two pieces of paper and couldnt sacrifice them and was stuck lol since no one wanted paper, would be nice to have a button the get rid of item in hand. You can pre-fire some events and get them early like water and paper report, think a timer on these would be nice so you cant have them ready to give if the person requests them.

Super cool artstyle! the characters look destinct and likeable, the change in facial features for different answers is super nice also! Not much in gameplay to add, visual novels arn't really my kind of games lol but with the small amount of time that you had you did a great job!

Gameplay loop is nice and works, at some points it did get stale with one enemy type (probably time constraints which is okay) but the last wave I did struggle a bit and nearly lost lol, the art is the best part its AMAZING the assets are so so good! music was okay it works I guess, it does give off a space vibe but wasn't a big fan and the screen music at the start was definetly not to my liking, a VCR sound would have been a lot nicer to the ears. Im surprised a story was actually put into this with the time frame for this Jam so props I liked that. Super cool game overall and I really enjoyed it, well done guys!

Some thoughts: I don't like the infinite spawn, not sure if the spawn gets progressively delayed but I think a limit on lives that you could potentially buy back instead would suite more in my opinion, shooter enemy would be cool, and maybe clones changes colour depending on combination. also if you add a new bean? I forgot what it was called sorry, to an existing one in the slot it overrides it, not much of an issue just thought to inform the team on this, probably a feature however.

pretty cool concept, not much gameplay but I do understand where you were going with this and with the description it would have been a nice addition to get the gnows to go on expeditions. Other than that the art is super cool! and the music is super calming and relaxing and fits with the vibe! I understand the main gnome is falling asleep as I understand and you try to do a natural animation with the eyes but the one frame with the eyes closed reminds me of the speed meme, im so sorry lol.

Pretty nice game, a basic clicker but statistic events spiced up the game and made it super fun which I liked and the descriptions where nice lol. Art is pretty cool but I think it would be cool to also see the character sprite also grow and change in ways with the new status, other than that I liked this!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the cursor is locked and doesn't display and should be locked to the center when just moving and rotating, there is a bug where it doesn't rotate fully around normally, only time the cursor registers is when you aim and doesn't use the center but screenSpace but I understand where your coming from where it does seem more difficult lol. Interesting that you fell through the lava texture it should have collided and restarted, so thanks for the bug find. Blue mode is for swinging and you should be able to use the middle mouse to toggle off and on but that one is on me and not making it more obvious.

I really liked this game! super simple yet addicting, the art is super cool also, think some cozy background music would make this even better. Gameplay wise nothing to improve I think, I thought about having like a green background for correct symbols but it would make it to easy and the way it is currently makes it even more of a puzzle. I think you can definitely build on this with your artsyle I think!

Pretty cool game I enjoyed collecting the trash and dodging the boats, the pixel art is nice and the water texture is super cool.

some thoughts: wish you could damage the boats with all the trash and make them explode and then pick them up also as trash, another thing is that the boats can also pick up the trash which kinda defeats the purpose of the main character's ability. Still super fun gameplay loop with some extra tweaks would make it even greater!

Really Cool Art and simple concept, was hard to understand at first that bigger bamboo need more hits with no upgrades, skill tree is a nice addition which I thought was nice, really enjoyed playing this simple but super clean game, this would be a nice mobile game in my opinion! Very solid.

 Some extra thought:

  1. think a quick time event with different spawn locations on screen with a timed button press would add some more engagement for the longer cool downs, which could add a full line attack with crit attack if timed succesfully
  2. Also the skill tree when on it stops the bamboo from continuing its growth which is a little annoying
