I thought that I had commented?
Well anyway, just imagine smash tv meets vectrex spaceship. Great gameplay specifically in twin stick mode.
Warning not for the faint of heart. This starts difficult and ramps up!

I almost have to question where he found the time to make this as it is clear that a whole bunch of effort and love went into this game. It is very much a vector graphics take on the Smash TV formula, and has (likely unintentionally, yet very appreciated) small hints of Every Extend Extra Extreme here and there.
This is definitely best enjoyed with a control scheme where the player can move and shoot in different directions, for it is not an easy game in the slightest, but it does have the "one more go" appeal that is essential for any classic arcade game. I almost feel like I miss a second player being present, but that is no knock on the game, it is because I want an extra player to see how fun it is (and share in my frustration when the bug line snake thing kicks my arse for the umpteenth time haha).
Love this, its my type of game. The work is that has gone into this really shows, with the the attention to detail and gameplay. Hard, frustrating even, but you want to come back for more! Old school, but using the Amiga's strengths to bring it to another level, with beautifully crafted bitplane and palette effects. Sound great too. Extra points for full frame rate on a basic 68k OCS setup as well!
A really impressive jam entry. The core mechanics are simple to grasp but surprisingly deep, and the difficulty curve hits that sweet spot between punishing and rewarding. The visual style and pacing give it a distinctive personality, and the level design shows a clear understanding of how to keep players engaged without overwhelming them.
It’s challenging, clever, and genuinely enjoyable — one of those games that sticks with you.
An excellent shooter but only for people who own twin stick controllers. The game does not bring any fun (rather irritation) when played with a regular joystick. However nobody said that it is something against the rules. Fresh idea, good realisation, nice presentation and aesthetics. Congratulations! And looking forward to the full version (still 0.10 alpha of this game offers more than any other 1.0 final beta of many other games).
I played the game for the longest time on Keyboard and it's actually one of the easiest control schemes. Once you get used to it you can change your shooting direction quicker than joystick.
If you have a 4 button gamepad and UAE, an A500 Mini, or miSTer then the CD32 Pad Input Style should work which is the next best thing to twin stick.
I was struggling to play this in the default one stick mode so had to have a go using 2 joysticks and wow it makes the game loads better. Does not feel right that this is running on my Amiga 500 and I could easily see this being in an arcade next to the classics. Reminds me of Geometry Wars crossed with SmashTV crossed with Llamatron.
Only issue I did find is that it doesn't load on Workbench 3.2 (just freezes on the DOS screen), but trying it on Workbench 3.1 it loaded fine.
