How does the game fit the theme?
The game is set in a dreamlike bedroom, a truly strange place where the player must distinguish reality from dreams.

Loved the shifting of the artwork and the narrative progression of this game! What felt at first like a simple point and click turned into a very emotionally impactful story. Wonderful work!
Very solid game! You did a great job on the art work and weaving bits of lore throughout the environment. Kudos <3
This concept is great! I really enjoyed how things twisted and warped each time I interacted with them, confusing in the best way. Well done!
The game is very relaxing and gives off great vibes. I really enjoyed the atmosphere
Short but quite impactful game, with pretty neat looking pixel art as well, truly bring about the vibe and the atmosphere for the game. I did manage to get 5/5 correct guesses as well, but tbh I was never truly sure. A pretty good and concise story as well.
One small thing is the dialogue, when I click it kinda skips the dialogue some time so I didn't manage to read some lines there, could maybe use some tweaks there to make reading a bit more convenient.
Nice game! This is indeed a strange place to find yourself in, and something I find resonant on a personal level.
I would have the same feedback on gameplay improvement ideas as others here, like ability to skip ahead dialogues, or more feedback in the UI like highlighting when hovered an interactable object etc. Because of the slow pace of the animations, sometimes I don't know if my click was registered or not.
I would also have liked to see a volume settings menu since I find some of the SFX feels a bit loud.
It's pretty amazing that you managed to create a vibe like this given how little content there is. I did doubt myself a lot through the game but ended up with 5/5 guesses. It reminded me of that one UFO 50 horror game if you see what I mean. As others pointed out the dialogue skip is a bit unfortunate. Of course there are lots of things you could add but given the time you had I think mainly just considering doing some stuff with shaders to make the graphics weirder could probably be manageable. Cool submission, the minimalism of it is inspiring
You have nailed the vibe of this game, the art style is so well done and the narrative compliments the gameplay strongly. I got 4/5 guesses which I am happy with. One solo dev to another, great work!
I really loved the art style, and the color palette fits the theme perfectly.
Great work! I absolutely loved it!
I love the colour palette you've used here, really solid visual style! Audio and ambience are great too, especially that eerie typewriter sound. Beautiful little game, well done!
My one nitpick is I'm a bit impatient when it comes to waiting for dialogue to appear on screen. I found the words got typed out a little slowly here, so I wanted to skip - but skipping then sends you to the next dialogue instead of showing the full sentence first. I would suggest speeding up the typing effect or changing the skip behaviour to show you the full dialogue before moving on to the next one.
Just a minor critique for an otherwise really well-executed game jam submission. Nice job!
