A very original idea you got there, i quite like the creativity behind it. What a lot of games struggle with is clarity without a overwhelming amount of tutorials and i feel like yours managed to get the sweetspot right between UI and presentation. The game itself is fun and i really like the different swines lol. Now, i guess that the swinefari was pretty weird but i am not sure if it's as a strange place as others have been. Keep up the good work!
I'm respecting the visuals (And pfp alone of developers, heh)
Could you rate mine too?\
Big plus on the UI and art. Very cool concept with the gameplay mechanics, and the chilling BGM really adds to the vibe. Good work!
The UI alone deserves props; information is very organized, readable, and just flows. I barely needed to think about what to do. Spin, place, snap. It clicks fast. The whole film roll slot machine generating the scene is such a cool idea. I love how each card tweaks the score in different ways, sometimes helping, sometimes sabotaging you under certain conditions. It turned this more into a strategic puzzler.
The shop and adding new rolls into the pool hooks you. That rouguelite/deck-building layer fits well with the photography theme. And the memory augmentation are a nice touch on top. The SFX for adding up the score is also ear-candy and help make it more addicting.
Slick game with a really clever loop. It all feels polished from start to game over.
Really fun game loop, ended up reaching round 8 on my longest run! Soundtrack is really good, love the mix of visuals, and super polished gameplay. Great job!
Very fun game, interesting concept!
It would be great if the scoring mechanic was explained to the player. But overall great game!
super cool neat game, Love the music <3
Incredible! Would love to see it grow to a full game!
Really nice idea! It was fun playing it xD Easy to get gameplay i also great. Target grows pretty slow, but score scales pretty fast(exponentially). And I really need count skip
I like that everything is pigs ^^
Incredible concept ! I spend a lot of time in it ahah And basically that's not my type of games, so congrats !
Everthing feel polished anc cohesive !
Feel free to test our game !
Cool game. I love the concept!
SOOO GOOOOOD! My strategy based on spam the rock ones and buy that power up that boost the photo if there is only one specie. I really enjoyed this game, 10/10
I really like the concept
It reminded me a bit of balatro
My downsides were about how slow it was to actually calculate score.
I would have liked if there was a speed multiplier. Or maybe faster processing in general
Maybe also the ability to put both snaps first and then calculate total score after.
It would also be nice to get extra snaps.
I found that if you focus on the +1 score for each grass swine you can beat any level with ease by making sure you only get normal swine cards and nothing else
I played for a long time so I was enjoying myself but it does need a bit extra I think so that it stops being repetitive.
Good job!
Very cool idea! I'm always a fan of levels that the player can generate and it felt very intuitive to play around with. Loved the art for the buttons especially :D
Visuals
1 ... (main): this static on title feels little of
2 ... (main): Add zoom animation interpolation/tween on mouse button hover
3 ... (game): < bg, icons, buttons> vs <map> art aesthetics mismatch -> this looks mismatched based on LV of detail.
3.1 . (game): adding more detailed tileset might fix this
4 ... (game): screenshot shader looks nice but it looks buggy too (it feels like game lags
5 ... (game -> game over): animations are perfect placed
6 ... (game): maybe adding moving film icon after hovered (now only zooms out)
7 ... (game): maybe add small animation to UI
Design
1 ... unique "gamble concept"
2 ... got game mechs. without reading tutorial very fast -> that is good sign
3 ... (game->story): Add UNDO
4 ... (Game->selecting film): there UNDO probably wont work, cause checking where RNG is placed?
5 ... why i lose always at around LV 3?
5.1 . maybe decrease hardcore -> you are able to pass with less score (now its too hard)
Controls
1 ... mouse click works +1
Sound
1 ... good chilling one +1
Bugs
1 ... (main): credits/quit button does not work
2 ... (game): press down on film already do action -> change to click
Good job overall
Love the combination of spinning, deck building, and framing puzzle. Grateful for the music off button :-0
Made it to round 4 on the second try.
This is such an innovative twist on the deck-building genre! The art style and SFX are stunning and incredibly satisfying... Well... especially the coin drops haha
Overall, a very creative and cozy entry! I loved that!
This was a really great entry for this jam! I loved the cosy soundtrack, the visuals were super polished, the game idea was simple, but well-developed (nice combinations btw) and intuitive. Great game design for a one-week jam! I hope you game gets a good score :) Just one bug: the credits panel in the main menu doesn't work haha can you rate my game?
Something I love: I Love the originality and concept of this game!!! I love how addicting it is! I love your art and UI! I love how each "item" Throws a coin out of it, and the sfx for it is super satisfying!
Things I wished for: I do think maybe a click to speed up the coin counting would be satisfying and helpful for impatient people. I think adding a moving element to the creatures that spawn would also make if more challenging and engaging! I also think a tad more UI sfx juice would go a long way!
Bugs found:
1. just a visual bug when the scenes try to change, I think you're trying to use two different textures to move, but only one does (I could be wrong lol)
Overall: I reached round 3 and made the mistake of taking a pic of a carnivore near ALL my pigs LOL. Anyway, overall I LOVE THIS GAME! Super original, satisfying and fun! I will be keeping up with updates to it! Keep up the amazing work!
