Wow. Is this really a game made in just one week? You've totally created a little Biohazard. It's a shame there's no minimap, but it's fine just as it is without one. I also liked how Lisa's portrait grotesquely changes every time she takes damage.

Thank you so much for playing!

That was quite interesting! Is there multiple endings by any chance? My only complaint would be some in game controls would be nice and maybe some visual markers to help guide the player! I only found the key card while waffling around and same for the door to use it on xD  And that door was not marked very well either!

Really solid effort though :)

Developer

Yes, there are only 2 endings. Thank you for playing and for your feedback!

Nice aesthetics, feels like "Medal Of Honor: Resistance" and "Tron" whit "Ghost In th Shell" were mixed. The character is a little rigid, but you get something! Some monsters scared me with their footsteps sounds haha!

The style of the game is super cool! I love this type of dystopian, sci-fi vibe that is dark and metallic-grungy. The gun itself looks totally sick, and I love the laser that comes out of it, which also helps aim at the robots' heads. At first, I thought the lack of music was a bit off, but then it actually made the game a lot tenser because when it’s mostly quiet, all you hear are electrical noises in some sections or the robots stomping their way toward you, which can be quite scary. I do think some of the objectives could be a bit more obvious, since otherwise you might do things out of order or waste time, especially because the enemies you kill per room respawn.

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'm already working on the improvements. If all goes well, I'll probably release the final version next week.

Great game honestly. Had a lot of fun playing it, and the typical dystopian ending didn't disappoint, who are you to leave the system that made you?

Kinda wish the footsteps were a bit quieter, or more varied, as eventually I would just hold spacebar just to avoid hearing it. The music was great though. I really liked the animation of taking out and reloading the gun, with my only gripe that I wish it was a bit more obvious when you can hit an enemy. Feels like the weapon had a pretty limited range as I had to be up in their face to damage them.

Overall felt pretty polished!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'm already working on the points you mentioned.

i remember seeing your work with lightning & environment in the Discord, really impressive seeing it all put together! especially like the atmosphere in the server room with the flickering lights. music was great, sound effects could be mixed a bit more (player footsteps were pretty distracting) and i think objectives could be a bit more telegraphed. there were a lot of dead ends/side paths which felt a bit extraneous but i can see them eventually having easter eggs or bonuses hidden around which would be fun!

excited to see this project continued to being built upon!

I LOVED this game's aesthetics and sound. The worldbuilding and story were pretty interesting as well. Of course some more feedback when shooting or damaging enemies would be nice, but well, jam things. Either way I really enjoyed this, I'd love to see a longer version to keep exploring this world and learn more about the story. Congrats! Great work

Thank you so much for playing! I'm already working on gameplay improvements. This game is part of a universe I'm slowly developing (if you look at my profile).
I'm glad you liked it :)

I enjoyed the atmosphere the sound design and graphics of the game (psx vibe), the ennemy don't react when you shoot them in the back but they seems like simple  robot so i did not mind (maybe that's even intended). The part in the electrical room with the steps of the robot getting closer was awesome. I tried to test some combinaison on the computer but did not find anything.

I just think we have too much movespeed and mobility, 'cause on my first run i was sprinting and jumping around like crazy and robot can't follow ^^'.

Great game, thanks for the share !

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! I haven't had time to improve the enemy AI. It'll probably be a bit simplistic, but it will react to what the player does. I'm still thinking about how I can make the player's movement slow but enjoyable.

This was very earie and reminded me a ton of the original System Shock in terms of atmosphere. The footstep sounds in the large open room and sudden changes in music in the tight labyrinth room had me on edge the whole time. While I did get the ending, I didn't find quite enough to crack the code on the PC and I'm still curious about the white lights as well. There's a lot of mystery to this game and I really enjoyed that! Really the only feedback I have is the default aim sensitivity felt really low but that's extremely minor and changing it to around 50% felt much better. Great work!

Pretty good entry I'd say!

I like the old school graphics of the game.

Had some problems charging my weapon (couldn't charge it at all) but it was intuitive to navigate through the levels!

Developer

Thanks for playing! The weapon only reloads while you're aiming.

I would definitely love to see this finished! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and exploration of this one, and the deeper you go, the more intense the game got. There was one room that felt super claustrophobic with super intense audio that felt very visceral. I could only find one clue, but I might have to come back to this one to see the ending. Great job!

The gun gave me a false sense of security at first, but that ended quickly :)
The design of the place and the awesome texture work - really makes you feel like you're exploring a giant weird alien superstructure. Then there are these cryptic messages, like R=2.
That corridor with flickering lights and enemies around - such a panic-enduing location.
I found a computer in what looked like an office (?) you could type names into, but none worked. I tried Lisa and all the ones displayed.

Couldn't beat the game yet, I would probably have to restart from the beginning to have a little more health, and use my weapon more strategically.

Overall it's great, I really like the mood and environment design, the controls feel very appropriate, amazing work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for playing! I didn't have time to add the game's healing system, so you'll need to be careful during the levels. The names on the computer are just placeholders for now, but the search bar is still very important. I hope you discover it -.-

Also, I'll be playing your game soon. It really caught my attention.
