Thank you, I am glad to hear that! 😁

That was quite interesting! Is there multiple endings by any chance? My only complaint would be some in game controls would be nice and maybe some visual markers to help guide the player! I only found the key card while waffling around and same for the door to use it on xD And that door was not marked very well either!
Really solid effort though :)
Ah body snatchers papers please xD This was really well put together aesthetically and functionally! I don't get why the Info Cards are the size of a computer 3.5 HDD though in the future xD Feel like just being able to flick through profiles on the screen would of been sufficient but this does add a little extra gameplay!
I know this is more so an issue of circumstance but checkpoints are always appreciated especially in game jams! It's not the fastest game so being able to skip past stuff already done would be nice (Unless its randomised). Killed a human by accident and just a "Game Over" seemed a bit underwhelming (maybe have them screaming on the radio at you as they get blown up or something or "Tell whoever I love them").
Anyway again good work :)
So our game also was a fixed camera horror with a key hidden in the bathroom xD Thought that was amusing haha! Your cameras are probably the most functional for any of these types of games in this jam so congrats haha! Never once got lost but I think this made there not be any really artistic or interesting framing.
The game is really well put together though just wondering if there is more? I could only find two of the fuses sadly. Good work though :)
Hello! Good work on the game :) The presentation is done really nicely and it controls well! My only issues really were with the sense of direction... Get a little lost as what to do and it seems some of the subs that tell you what to do go past so quickly! Also the hit box to pick up the bags seems to be over the boxes to the left of them which was a bit confusing xD
anyway hope you get this all sorted out post jam :)
We had a good team! That's how we got a lot done haha! (Also a Rokoko suit and Mixamo to the rescue haha)
Oh okay so! With the first enemy, he's just set to chase you and your meant to lure him back to the trap to the spike trap to kill him... But a lot of people don't haha! We didn't account for people gunning it to the generator with it chasing xD After he's dead you go to the generator then the other enemies spawn etc. All the ones after the first (And the very final ones in level 2) are actually blind. If you walk near them though and they hear the foot steps they will run to the spot they heard the noise. If they touch you then they know where you are and try to chase/murder you. So just hold space to quietly sneak past them. As long as you don't touch them they wont notice you! Same with the prison segment. As long as you stealth and move when they come out of the cells they wont find you! Just stay out of their path!
Anyway thanks a lot for playing and all the feedback :)
The game looks really nice and seems interesting! I felt some more quality of life improvements could be made such and not de equipping the weapon when interacting with stuff! And a option to turn off the forever dutch angle unless that's just a glitch haha (My camera was forever dutch angle unless I sprinted then it would go normal but soon as I stopped would go back slanted)
Just a few notes I made while playing
- Forever dutch angle? (Maybe me feel a bit sick)
- Swooshing sound too comical when interacting xD
- Wheeping Angel Mannequins can be seen moving from around corners (and through the wire walls in the green area
Anyway really good job though :)
Ah that was a good little game and a neat idea! I see you suffered from the same setting up dreaded cameras as my team faced but I think you did better due to the tank controls haha! I think it would of been better to have some more of the story in the game itself than just on the itch page. The dimension box thing was really cool though!
Really good work :)
Oh that was very unexpected xD Words of advice! Make the starting area look better.. A kids classroom, a open field, anything but what you have! It looks like a barely worked on prototype but then suddenly you hit the proper meat of the game and it looks really well done. You really need to show people your best quickly rather than the worst or they might get turned off sadly :/
But it was really good, you should be happy with your work :) (Just make that intro section look nicer!!!!)
Good work that was a very interesting story :) I thought the main characters descent into madness was way too quick though! xD
There is a old game called Harvester which does a similar thing where is turns you into a monster but it does it in a more slow and deceitful manner. It's quite interesting you should take a look!

Just two points I noticed where the grammar needs to be fixed;
- "It's a good man" should be something like "They are a good man". In general/old fashion referring to someone as "it" can be considered quite rude and I don't think the main character wants to be rude about the neighbor.
- When you and the neighbor start talking at night you said "Good night" at the start of the conversation. It should be "Good evening" when you start a conversation in the evening/night but when your saying goodbye in the evening/night "Good night" is perfectly fine then!
Anyway really good work :)
I liked the game but wish there was a bit more to it! I think your tutorial gave away a bit too much, horror games are about fear (usually) and if the player knows exactly what they need to do without figuring anything out it can take away a bit of that fear.
"The tutorial told me to stand here when the monster comes and I'll be safe!" Even something sly like, "Pay Attention to the Radios" would be a bit better! You have clearly marked places on the floor too so the player should be able to figure it out! Or show you mechanics instead like the Radio in Silent Hill 1. You hear that crackling and not sure why but as you approach it a monster crashes through the glass!
But really good effort I did enjoy it :)
Oh good work that was a little bundle of fun :D I know your aiming for Gameboy aesthetic but it really reminded me of the old Manhunter games from Sierra (I loved them when I was a kid)!
Sorry if this is a bit short of a review but yeah, I really enjoyed it haha!
Is it possible to play it on a actual gameboy with a flash cart or just emulator only?
Thank you for playing and the nice feedback! We do need to work on the cameras a bit, we changed them a few times so they are better than what they were but still a little confusing 😅
A few people had issies with the monster killing them in the toilet and well.. there was not a checkpoint there before ill jist say that much 🤣
One of our team members wanted the elevator to be shortened so,I bet hes reading this and grinning right now 🤣 My defence is... If kojima can have a three minute ish ladder i can have my elevator for half that time 😂
anyway thank you again for playing and the feedback 😁
That was a really good effort! Was happy to see some cutscenes and the voice acting! I got up to the shooting part and spent a good 5 minutes wandering around but couldn't find the 5th one for the life of me!
My only real complaint was trying to leave the cave after a while got tedious and I did not find it scary anymore.. Then having to go back into it again just got a bit annoying xD But otherwise really good :)
I think someone complained bout this game on the discord saying it needs a content warning haha! In all honesty it probably does but probably don't spoil what happens! I got the happy couple ending myself! Was quite good but wow that's a lot of dialogue in a week haha! Anyway congrats on the effort :)
I bloody love Heavy Rain and Silent Hill so loving your feedback thank you :P
I think the people that are having difficulties with the fps are running non ray trace gpu's! We used Unreals Lumen lighting system so all the lights are real time which is probably murdering peoples PC's... I get constant 70-80fps on mine though xD (RTX 3060 TI)
Anyway thank you a lot for playing :)
Awee thank you for the kind words :)
- We will add graphical settings after the jam haha!
- I actually wanted to do that but I made another game years back with the tank controls and while it works perfectly in the editor it acts quite strange once you make a build of it.. Not sure why... (So was afraid to try and implement it for this)
- Would you recommend a brightness control?
And again thank you :D
