I've been continually updating this simple game but the Itch version can't be updated until the Jam voting ends.

In the latest version (and the version that will be published to itch as soon as the rating period ends), there is the ability to add your own word to unscramble and to share it in a link to someone else. There is also the chance that other sets of words (even in different languages) can be contributed to from the community. The link above is my self hosted version that you can try and see the latest improvements. These improvements come from having more time available to put towards it as well as encouragement and suggestions from another Itch user that reached out to share their ideas. thanks again.

Thanks for your comments. This was thrown together in very little time, so I agree the letters unscrambling could (and will) be better. The word categories aren't in any order of difficulty. I'll consider doing something along those lines or adapting this game to that concept. Here's a link to another word game of mine. By the way, you may have figured it out by now, but when you click a letter in the unscrambled word, the remaining letters after that point are shifted. This was the quickest, easiest way for me to implement the unscrambling given the short jam time and my available time to create and submit within that 3 day window.
I might put another day into adjusting how the unscrambling works as well as ordering the levels by difficulty. In fact, I may even put in a create mode that lets you create and share categories, words and hints. ( That way even other languages like Spanish might have a level to play and learn from ... ) thanks again for trying it and your comments.
That is cool. I figured out that when I clicked, letters changed places. But not in a way I could predict. I had my theories but they didnāt really happen. Hoping to see updates, thanks for the attentive reply.

Oh by the way a while ago I absent-mindedly tried to play again, but quit again after two words because of the controls. But itās a sign that itās a nice game if the UX can be improved.
Another suggestion Iād like to make is to have the music player on all pages if possible, and on a loop. So we can pause or play or change at any time. Donāt know if itās possible.
The gameplay itself is not really my cup of tea, but the game has a beautiful presentation. Everything is well placed and looks aesthetically pleasing. It basically delivers on what it promises - unscramble words in a cozy, fall vibe.
Reading the comments below, I notice that it's supposed to have audio, in which case that's a nasty bug; there is no audio playing in mine:
Edit: I just noticed that you submitted the game more than 2 days before the jam ended. On one hand, it's cool that you submitted a feature complete, polished game. But on the other hand, why not use the extra time to implement more things in it?

I've been continually updating the game and submitted revisions before the submission period ended. Since then I've been continuing to develop and have a latest version self-hosted. I will update the Itch version when the voting period ends.
