thanks for playing and reviewing! yeah it took a while to get comfortable with blender modelling beforehand, which made the low poly models + rigging process not as bad for the jam! here are some guides I followed that helped me throughout the whole process if you're interested:

This one kickstarted my whole blender learning arc, super concise and comprehensive I feel. (well technically it was the donut tutorial first but that wasn't as helpful LOL)

3D Cat - Blender Character Modeling for Beginners | Real-Time Tutorial

And Ian Hubert's lazy blender tutorials showed how easy and fun UV mapping/editing can really be

Making Fliers in Blender - Lazy Tutorials

and no jumpscares except from the vinny death blerps being too loud hahaha

the reward is the scoots we collected along the way (ran out of time to come up with something). thanks for playing!

omg thanks for playing reviewing and actually reading the notes!? yeah first time building a 'chibi' low poly rigged model which actually wasn't too bad, but ran into trouble figuring out how to UV map for them (since they don't have backshots readily available on the net 👀)

oh thanks for playing and reviewing so well! yeah so

  • expected the sounds to be loud for some, was the volume sliders not working?
  • yeah fullscreen is something i still need to figure out
  • hmm yeah camera sensitivity slider should have worked in the settings (esc) but totally could be better
  • yeah first time figuring out a 3rd person camera implementation, and couldn't figure out a simple way to prevent clipping sadly. maybe if i factored in the shape of the camera or something
  • yeah sorry for that, jumping part was kind of an afterthought LOL

really neat puzzle game!

nice little lemmings reskin!

dude needs anger management classes after this

spent too much time trying to spin the knob instead of just pulling it L/R. the best retro TV i've seen so far!

game's difficulty is giving PTSD like that bad Simpsons NES game LOL, very nicely done!

loved the concept! similar to the other warioware esque games but this one feels much more coherent to the theme!

no duck! no touch

lmaoo you actually made navigating shitty monitor UIs into a game! brilliant!

nice work with the shop design! has 'shadows of doubt' vibes

scrub the duck!

really neat pixel game! reminds me of the UFO50 Pinolf but with the UFO's flying combined. neat!

ooh another warioware minigame but with a meta-game twist!

game needs WORK 📼jk the concept is really cool tho, like part time UFO catcher doing chores

lmaooo zelda 2 vibes + bootleg flintstones!? defo vinny-coded 👍🫰

nice duck! good job for your first game too!

really like the idea of characters putting their heads into a TV then transport to a diff world

sometimes i just wanna take a bat and SMASH right down the middle of the TV

love the art, the character swaps almost reminds me of the silent hill mirror world stuff, cool concept!

the art is soooo good! very undertale- inspired, at this point, vinny's played more deltarune -esque fan games before having played them. also 🦢📼

used to hate the asteroid game as a kid, this is a really neat recreation!

those damn horizontal spinning salamis!

really neat idea! this could be modernized to a full game i bet
