We spent so much time playing it as it is really fun and well made.
Yes, the "fall" aspect isn't very present in this game, but the "lost and found" theme is fully respected and it is relaxing and cozy to play.
We especially liked the fact that the different fishing zones were at different heights because it feels more realistic than just being a gradient.
Still having cliffs is important in our opinion if you choose to add a height gradient so it keeps a more natural look.
Also the game has its own ambiance thanks to its cohesive and thought-out art style.

Very fun and creative little game loop! the boat was very smooth and the magnet was intuitive to use. The only thing is I don't feel the cozy fall vibe fits as much. Yes, the trees in the background have autumn colors, but they could very well have any other color and the main game loop or vibe wouldn't change whatsoever. Otherwise, a VERY cute game, genuinely!

The artwork and sound design really create a nice vibe! The gameplay is fun too. I realized that magnet speed is kind of a bait because bigger objects started falling down again when moving the magnet up at that speed xD
Haha yeah, the magnet upgrade is pretty bad. After the jam Ill upload the build that fixes these issues. Hope you enjoyed!
I can't say it really fits in with the "cozy fall" theme, but it looks very pretty and feels like a game game as opposed to some walking simulator or visual novel. But I can echo what the others have mentioned about the progression - it feels weird for the sections to go from shallow, to super deep, to shallow, and then to some middle ground.
Personally, I thought that gold not being attracted by magnets was a very neat idea :) It was a nice subversion of my expectation as a gamer.
All in all, good work & congratulations for your submission!

The gold pieces were a bit of a troll though, couldn't pick them up with max magnet strength 😭
Great game. I had a lot of fun with the gameplay and I like the physics based system. The progression felt a bit slow though.

Neat game! The physics of the magnet feels great. Perhaps a bit of tweaking with how quick you get upgrades would be good; just felt a bit slow at first.
I really liked this game! I went out way too deep on my first day and barely found anything, but when I tried closer to shore I was able to get some upgrades going. Very fun!

The game is nice, but laggy ( it's freaking under water so I can take it as a feature ) and maybe metal is not so cozy... But still very nice concept, gameplay and vibe! Very nice, I like!
Yes it seems the games performance is iffy depending on the browser. If you're on chrome make sure you have hardware acceleration on! Thanks for the kind words

I love the changing scenery and the cool sound effects. The magnet kinda made me mad a little but but I think it was fun for the time I spent on it haha. Some more balancing and it could be very fun.
If you're continuing development of the game I would be interested in playing it!
That was really fun. It took a little bit to get going but once I got a few upgrades I spent way longer playing this than I intended to. The art and music are really nice too.

This game reminds me of all those viral magnet fishing videos just without people screeming that they found an iPhone. The magnet physics feel really well made. Great game! <3

fun game! the downtime is a bit much (moving the boat back and forth, waiting for the magnet to descend) and i knew the theory of how to get the golden trophy but i could never do it in practice so that was a bit of a source of frustration, but overall this game is really fun and the music fits well.

A great, addictive game. It's a bit difficult to find places to grab anything with the magnet at first, but it gets much easier as you level up!

Cool game and with a lot of room for future versions if you're intending to keep updating it after the jam. The upgrade system is well designed as well. =) I'd suggest adding some environment sounds like seagulls and some other common sea sounds.
