I didn't understand the point of the game, but it has character. I also found the absense of music is jarring. What did you have in mind when you made this game?

Developer

Poverty and unemployment

It is one of the most visually distinctive games in the jam. Gameplay is quite interesting and enjoyable. Some audio would be great yet but the absence is understandable for a jam submissioni Good job!

Developer

Thank you very much!

The graphic design is interesting and gives the game a special atmosphere. I didn't manage to get very far, but congratulations on the visual work.

Developer

Thank you!

I think the game has a lot of potential, but I do think some music or more sound in general could really enhance the experience. I understand the idea of getting more ways to move or switch patterns over time, but the movement feels too slow considering all we do is walk back and forth to different places. The graphics are cool, and I think a lot of improvement could be made post-jam.

I switched to controller mid way and that was the better experience over keyboard.

Developer

Thanks for the feedbacks and for playing it!

The Graphics Were Really Cool But The Movement Was Really Difficult On Keyboard.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and for playing it!

The graphics and concept are great, but the actual gameplay feels kinda empty since it's mostly going back and forth through the same areas. Also, It would be cool to have some ambient sound.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah I wish I had more time to do content or maybe other mechanics, thanks for playing it!

This concept is very very clever, I really do hope to see a post jam version of this

Developer

Thank you very much! Maybe, let's see how it goes hahah

I like the concept, first time I played a game with 2 hands on the keyboard haha

Developer

Hahahah thanks! Hope it wasn't very hard to play

Kindle of, especially just before the end because we can’t move the camera and see what’s coming

Good work, cool visuals. The "fit-in" idea itself is very cool and at the same time simply (which is good) executed. The game's message is clear.

It's a bit awkward, though, holding down the keys to switch between modes. I don't think the placement is ideal. (Right next to WASD). Hard to sprint, move and hold "fit in" mode at the same time. I wish it could be toggled.

Thanks for the feedback and for playing it!

Wow. This game is super good. The graphics are on point and the mechanic is really fun and original. I really liked it.

Thank you very much!

The walking should definitely be faster in these types of games. Style was nice. The static audio got kind of annoying so some other ambiance would have been nice. Still nice job on the jam!

Developer

Thanks! Next time will focus more on audio and balancing stuff, thanks for playing it!

I really liked this one. The idea of "fitting in" to avoid dying was kind of unsettling, in a good way. The aesthetics were really haunting and kind of reminded me of stop motion movies by Henry Selick (Coraline, The Nightmare Before Christmas). One thing I definitely agree on with other commenters here which is the walking speed. It is just a bit to slow and dragging. But in a game jam it is often hard to balance these things out in a way that is satisfying in the end.

All in all a great jam entry and also definitely a great title! :D

Developer

Thank you! Really should have balanced the speed. Thanks for testing out!

I liked the psycchedelic graphics used. The core mechanic is interesting but the overall the speed is so slow that it was a drag to play. Interesting idea to throw in the movement instructions like you did.

Developer

Thank you! I agree, I think I didn't want the player to run too much since it's a horror game, but I should have created anything scary or happening to fill this emptiness. Thanks for the feedbacks, will definately work it out in the next projects!

It's not strictly a horror/terror thing, but the metaphor is good, the aesthetic is beautiful, and the cool mechanic that fits the theme is genuinely incredible! I also liked that you included controls for Xbox controllers—the game is really good! Making a longer game in this style would be pretty cool, I think.

Developer

Thank you very much! Yeah, it's the first time I've done anything horror related, definately need to learn/consume more. Thanks for giving it a try!

Short and Sweet. I liked the metaphor. I wish it sprinted automatically and that the movement were faster, but otherwise I enjoyed it. The visuals were simple but worked very well!

Good job!

Developer

Thank you!
