Nice aesthetics, though I don't think the scrapping life is for me. I had a difficult time understanding what was an enemy vs a projectile and I seemed to frequently run over my own land mines? I might be too cooked from playing so many jam games over the past week, but a little more tutorializing would be helpful here! Thanks for making your game
Thank you for playing! It can be a bit tricky to identify whats what I don't blame you for getting confused
I think the game could've used more sounds for the enemies and hot buttons for upgrading (instead of using the mouse). It's a solid entry. Well done.
Thank you! Yeah definitely will add hotkeys for the upgrades :D
supa epic game, made by the GOAT himself !! happy i could be apart of this games birth yaya
Thank you :D
very enjoyable arcade game experience. Just needs some nice sound effects.
Thank you! If you head into settings and increased the volume you'll be able to hear the sounds, I kind of messed up the starting volume sorry
Love the aesthetic, and actually harder than it looks before you start upgrading your stats! The whole idea of being surrounded by darkness and blinking creatures gives a nice spooky vibe to the whole game :) Sometimes I'd run out of ammo and didn't have enough scraps, so I lured them to the place where "airstrikes" dropped to get the easy scraps!
Thank you :D
Great aesthetic and sound design, good fun gameplay that feels like it would work really well as a multiplayer game, hunting down and running away from other players in the darkness, laying traps etc. Crazy what a solo dev can achieve in a week - Great work!
Thank you so much! Might keep the multiplayer idea in my mind :D
Great fun arcade game! The character is a little hard to control at first, but once I got some upgrade in, it become much more smooth! The aesthetic and sound design are also really great!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it :D
Cool game, had to get used to the controls a bit at first but after it was very fun to play, i like that you have limited ammo and need to plan and be very careful. Audio was not playing for me.
Thanks for playing! If you didn't try go into settings and turn the volume way up, I set the starting volume way too low sadly.
Interesting project, at first I wasn't sure how horror really fit into it, but between the darkness, the tension of the unknown enemies, not being sure if you were spotted yet, which way the grenade you threw bounced. It all gave sense of dread, very well done. I've completed the whole thing, and upgraded everything to the max, it was a very neat experience. I think the only element I found lacking was the sound, or it wasn't playing for me at the very least. I feel like some clicking noises in the menus or sound of explosions would add to the immersion. Also I feel like telling the player there is a rating system after they completed the game is a bit mean when they only goal advertised to the player was “collect 2500 scrap”. However I enjoyed the little arcade game, you have made ♥
Thanks for playing! I messed up with the sounds making it really quiet unless you turn it way up in the settings, if you didn't do that please try again as the sound really adds to it! Also yeah I was a bit mean with telling the player about the rating system after my bad. Glad you still enjoyed it though :D
Oh, I checked it now. the sound is there after I turned up the volume. It's a very good sound design now that I got to experience it. Explosion and collection are very satisfying. A nice upgrade sound would be good addition to give the player that dopamine rush ^^
I played this a few days ago, and it really has stuck with me. Just came back again to see if I could do better and enjoyed the game as much as I did the first time around! Thanks again for making a fun game :)
Thank you again! Glad you really enjoy it, I definitely will work on this game more and make it so much bigger! I have so many ideas and thanks to you and everyone I have loads of motivation :D
Simple and tense. I like how creative I had to get when using the different weapons. While the slow turn speed was annoying at first, it forced me to plan my attacks way more and I ended up really liking it. With limited ammo it also forced me to play much more carefully. I think you could take this concept, give it an aesthetic that's a bit more grouded, and you'd have a solid survival horror game on your hands.
Great work!
Thank you so much! I really hope I can improve this game lots more in the future :D
How fun, tbh for me the upgrade system makes this game 100%. I'm sucker for upgrade mechanics like this, and I feel in this game while it was bit leaning towards being too easy, I do prefer it this way as it was challenging enough to navigate and control (in a good way) and destroy the enemies. Took me while to understand that they indeed were grenades, and would not blow up on impact. I also do like the certain variety you managed to put in here regarding the enemies / map, there was clearly distinct places such as the big open area with the big area bombs. I'm sure you have better names for them, but this is the best I got :D
Good stuff here, I got a D rank, which is fair, I bolted immediately when I got enough scrap lol.
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it and found it a bit challenging :D
It's not a bad game, it reminded me of a game where you had to run away from a scary monkey through the corridors and collect red points

It's autumn forest russian game with slavic creepies. Hope you'll finish it despite of hardness.
Thanks for playing! Will check out yours soon :D
very cool, would play again
Thank you :D
It's a pretty cool idea with a nice radar-esque graphic style, but the controls feel a bit too much. It would be much comfortable if you could open an upgrade menu navigable with the arrow keys instead of having to use the mouse when the keyboard controls already make you use your 2 hands. Maybe you could even have designated areas for entering the upgrade menu, like the safe rooms in classic survival horror games.
Thanks for playing and the feedback! Definitely planning to improve the controls in future versions and 100% going to make shops more spread out like you suggested :D
Cool game! I like how you made simple graphics (smaller scope) but still game is enjoyable.
Nice fight design that is not so easy and obvious, throwing grenade is tricky. Love that you can kill yourself (I did with cluster bomb :D). Enemies that are displayed like on radar is cool idea, make it more interesting.
I like how you used light to make effect of appearing next parts of labyrinth, that gives a lot value for game with simple implementation, cool usage!
Upgrade mechanic is cool, that method od using mouse to buy new stuff is pretty and well working, good job!
I had some issues with sound, I did try to volume up on max but still didn't hear anything :(
Good job and congratulations on your submission!
Thank you! Glad you like it! Sorry for the sound being an issue
