Cool idea, I wish they're was a more satisfaying way to retrieve the head.
LOVE the skeleton sprite!
making me go across the entire map without dying even once is going to make me roid rage smash a child with a brick. see you in hell man
The concept is original and the music is great. I loved the stage where the player has to trap all the ghosts!
Throwing your head is an interesting idea for a puzzle platformer. Some of the puzzles i did felt like they suffered a bit from the puzzle platformers curse of knowing the solution and having to wait and watch yourself solve it, but i liked how the game opened up non-linearly and included optional collectables.
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the non-linearity, our goal was to have at least a small hint of that.
I found it very fun, a spooky little game.
cool art style and sprites, varied puzzle platforming mechanics and runs smoothly. Music needs more variation and more sound effects would go a long way - still a fun game!
Head got stuck in the wall. Also this game needs more sound effects. Pretty neat idea otherwise.
Hey Pots, what part of the game did your head get stuck in the wall? Hopefully the team and I can avoid the mistake in the future.
in one of those pillars that can be lifted by the buttons,
My first game ever, which I made very similar to your project! Well done, good luck!
Nice art style and p creative mechanic. It’s a bit barebones (heh), but has a lot of potential.
Music was nice but got repetitive being a short loop. I got stuck at the start thinking the “gap” was an obstacle and not how I progressed. There was a few bugs, but the puzzles were well made enough. Great job!
Here's my playthrough of your game! It's at the beginning of this video.
Cool game! I got softblocked when I threw my head to a place I couldn't reach. but aside, The music was great and the idea very original!
Hey Eri, Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the game, we had a great time making it. I wanted to ask though where did you get softlocked? My team and I are going through any bugs to hopefully learn something from them right now, and it would be great to hear from you.
in like the second or third puzzle, when you have to jump with the trampoline and throw your head over the very tall thing to press a button (or atleast that what I understood I had to do), I threw my head in such a way that it landed right on top of the tall thing. So I couldn't reach it.
Yeah I just had that happen to me when I went to look at it. We included a respawn button for scenarios like that but I don't think that was communicated well to the players. Thanks for the followup!
I liked a lot the concept but there is a couple of bugs and music seems to have some abrupt cuts. Also camera mechanics could be better. Even thought, it's a really good game with personality and i'ts own style, congratulations.
Fantastic concept and good execution. A real winner. The xylophone soundtrack was a nice touch too!
Liked the pixel art for the characters, and the background music was pretty catchy. I also enjoyed the puzzles, they got me to scratch my head. The controls were a little floaty though, and it was a little difficult to get the head to land where I wanted it.
Though some of the puzzles can be tedious to solve, I liked how creative the game is and how clever the puzzles were. Great jam submission!
Cool little game, I have some feedbacks though: it's hard to see where you aim your head, It's also possible to stuck your head on some platforms and be unable to retreive it. It's also unclear with what and how you can interact with things. But the game was quite fun overall.
Need more feedback but very cool!
Cool idea ! I get why you added the respawn feature. Would love to be able to control the head a little.
