Very fun and polished puzzle game, if you guys continue to work on it i would like some puzzles w
Thank you so much!! I’m really glad you played and liked it!! And yeah, I actually have a few mechanics in mind if we decide to continue — I wanted to include some of them in the submission, but time didn’t allow it haha. Thanks!!
This might be the best one out of the use your dead body as platform gimmick! The art , sound, level design are really well made . The interactive level selector is a cherry on the top , this gives me a nostagia of old browser games <3.
Thank you so much!! I’m really happy you enjoyed it :D
Very fun, I love it, it feels really fleshed out and clean
Thanks a lot!! We worked hard to make everything feel clean and polished :D
the concept of using you past bodies is something i have a lot in this jam but you put a very nice spin on it where you can leave different type of bodies with different behaviors!
the levels are simple but fun to solve
very good job!
TYSM!! Happy to hear you had fun with the levels too :D
Very cute and fun game! Each character behaves differently and to achieve it, they have to die 😆I also love the cute sound design, very nice. I think having more descriptions/instructions on the tutorial would be nice. But I was able to figure things out quickly. Overall, awesome game!!!
TYSM!! I’m really happy you liked it, and yesss, I wanted to make the characters look really cute hehe, so I’m glad that came across!!
Fun little puzzler! Very relaxed and very good art. Took a little bit to figure out the rules, the tutorial does a decent job teaching the player even without words, but all the tutorial signs say, "Wow, this is very nice!" Which it is, but that's not the most immediately helpful information.
TYSM!! :D
Hahaha in the WebGL version the text ended up bugging out , in the downloadable version, the signs explain the mechanics much better.
It was a pretty funny bug when I noticed it, sorry about that!!
Very fun. It reminded me of a few cool math games i used to play. the gimmick was very creative and it was really well done
Thanks!! :D
this was SO cute! i liked this a lot, especially the graphics and old video effects on it!!
Thank you so much!! I’m really glad you liked it. And yeah, they were definitely the cutest little guys I’ve ever made hehe
A very gorgeous game! Love the art and the puzzles! I did find it a little hard to see some of the traps or differentiate the map vs the background in some places, but beautiful work! In awe with the timeframe vs polish!
Thanks for the feedback!! I’ll definitely keep that in mind if we decide to continue the game :D
This game is really cool! The visuals really stood out to me, I adore the blues and purples with that pop of orange in the color palette it's quite satisfying to look at. I've seen a few games that use the player's corpses as platformers and objects, but nothing quite like this! The fact that each one behaved differently was such a cool idea, and it almost felt like I was creating my own puzzles in the process of solving yours. The level of polish on this is particularly impressive given the time limit. Great work!!
I’m glad you liked it!!! Thank you so much :D
This was a great little puzzle game with charming art, and the use previous bodies to create platforms is an excellent use of the theme! The only thing I didn't care for was the CRT effect which was a bit too much imo, to the point where the text was difficult to read at times. Fortunately there isn't a lot of reading necessary to play. Great work!
Thanks for the feedback!! Yeah, I think we might’ve gone a bit overboard with the filter haha. I’m not sure if you played the Windows version, but there you can actually disable the effect!! Unfortunately, the settings ended up bugged in the WebGL version :c
This is insanely good for being done in 4-5days!! Great work all round! I really dig the art style :)
TYSM!!! :D
Bro wtf, that's really amazing, not gonna lie, this is my favourite game in the jam, I hope you can win, this game has a huge potential to be the champion! Btw, are you brazilian?
Thank you so much, I truly appreciate that! ❤️
I’m really glad you enjoyed it — hearing it’s your favorite from the jam is incredible motivation.
And yes, I’m from Brazil!
Thanks for the message!! I was really happy reading it — and yesss, we’re Brazilian devs hehe
First puzzle game in this Jam
Very creative :3
This is gonna sound like a bug report / stream of concessions while I play through the game (really cool game btw):
Is the tutorial just "wow this is very nice"?
Maybe a stronger hint is necessary in a tutorial
Is the 2nd door meant to be just the credits page 3 times? There are stars when you go near the door so it seems like a set of levels
The instructions say the skeleton and ghost become enemies but you can walk on them? Maybe enemy is the wrong term here, maybe moving platform would be better.
Options appear to be in spanish in one screen and then english in another (kudos for supporting multiple languages though)
My mouse cursor disappeared after the 3rd level (maybe cos I'm switching tabs to write this)
I fell through the floor while pushing a crate, don't think this was intentional
The hold R to restart is excessively long. 1/2 second is probably long enough in case of accidental clicks and then it also require lifting off the key so it adds some additional time when you want to quickly restart. Just make restarts instant.
After completing all the levels it says "Defeated" probably a mistake
The tutorial door has 3 stars above it but you only get 1 star after completing it (my OCD dislikes the missing stars)
Definitely the bones of a great puzzle platformer here. The scan lines I can take it or leave it. The pixel art and lighting and presentation are top notch.
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! 😄
The big second door was actually supposed to stay locked until you collect 25 stars, but we accidentally uploaded a version where it’s already open — whoops!
The mouse is meant to stay hidden outside of menus, so something must’ve bugged out and made it appear and disappear incorrectly.
A few things don’t work quite right on WebGL (like localization), but we decided to keep this version exactly as it was when the jam ended, just to stay true to the original submission.
And yes, the “enemy” wording was a leftover — we had early plans for them to actually harm you, but that idea was dropped midway haha!
I loved the visuals and the vibe! that was so cool!
hehe thanks!!
This is a great platformer. Love the usage of different characters for different death effects. Great entry!
This has been one of my favourite games I've played this game jam, it feels really slick and really polished and is a great use of the theme. Nicely done!!
TYSM!!! I’m super happy you liked it
This is so cool. love the different aspect of the 3 character and fits the theme very well. love the pixel art, cant believe this was made in 4 days cant imagine the crunch time lol.
Very good, loved the different take on the clqssic using corpses as platforms mechanic!
Supercute art too!
