Very clever. Well done. Looks and sounds great, too.
Controls are a bit of an odd choice, but I do truly love the story. Very powerful.

How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
The game is about characters down on their luck seeking a turn of fate. They go to a Seer whose actual powers are not exactly clear, to try and better their future.

Fun puzzle game and while there's def an obvious comparison to be made to games like Baba is You, I think this game does something interesting and unique with the story between the levels with the fortune reader. Impressive to pull off for a game jam!
like the theme interpretation, and this is a great little puzzle game. gives me baba is you vibes.
it did take a while to figure out what I was actually doing though - in fact, I would say it wasn't until the last couple of levels that I was playing intentionally rather than just trying different combinations. but I was intrigued enough to keep going, so once I did understand it, I wanted more.
great work!
A fun little game. I was able to get to lvl 3 or 4, but cant figure out the rest. I feel like if I spent more time I MIGHT be able to figure it out, but the goal/rules were a but oblique. But the way the story was going was good, and I loved the art!
I enjoy solving the puzzles, At the begining was hard to understand the world card, I dind't realize that was a wolrd upside down haha
Nice game, I really enjoy it
Loved this one, such a fun puzzle mechanic that winds up being pretty challenging. I like that the game expects you to puzzle out how cards work rather than bashing you over the head with explanations. Excellent work! I could see Crossing Fate being fun as a daily browser game with a new puzzle everyday.
I really liked the artwork; the color palette was very well chosen and it works perfectly. The card effects were also very well explained. Congratulations!
That was awesome! Playing around with each set of card applications was engaging, and I like how fluidly the tarot symbolism is applied to all three pieces.
The music track sets the atmosphere perfectly and reflects the tone of the story, starting as something simply mysterious before building into something dramatic and poignant. The final level and its solution is so cool!
Fantastic! Great work!
really interesting and mind blowing puzzle game
I got stuck for a bit on the last puzzle because I don't understand what death card meant
but I solved it in the end ^^
really enjoyable experience XD
