The atmosphere is so calming as well as chilling. I want more of this. Two small UX things that happened to me: I didn't understand how to pick up items. Perhaps just changing the cursor to something gamey would help. I didn't understad that the meter at the top would kill me so it felt a bit punishing. Perhaps show it with some death icon or something else.

How does the game fit the theme?
For this jam, the theme āRisk it for the Biscuitā inspired the core loop of the game. You stay in a bunker where youāre safe, but resources are limited. To survive, you have to leave and scavenge, risking radiation exposure for the chance to find food and water. Every run outside is a simple choice between safety and taking a chance.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All of the code and art in the game were made from scratch during the jam. The only assets I didnāt create myself were the music and sound effects, which I found online.

Cool little game, and another one prof of how much cant be done we so little. Congratulations on this submission!
Really enjoyed the art and the music. Some more things to do with the gameplay would be nice. Over all a very chill experience.
Very chill post apocalyptic experience. After i had survived a few days, I listened to the radio for a bit and then went risky and died after staying out a bit. I am confused about the health stat as the radiation killed me immediately.
I did find a bit of a bug - if you keep going, you can just run right off the edge of the world and continue until the background texture also disappears and you die in the gray void. Overall quite good and fun for the game jam time
Cool idea! The visuals were really good. Unfortunately the gameplay itself is a bit lacking, but understandable for a week long game jam. I think there's also some room for improvement in the UI. The size of the pixels in the font didn't match the rest of the game. And a dedicated UI instead of just text on the screen for health and thirst would be nice. Overall solid work for a week!
I also like the theme! What I saw in another games what could work here as well: The more loot you have, the slower you walk. Therefore you have to risk a bit more for good items and/or have to give up items, when you think you won't make it back.
Really like the theme! One of the days I decided to just walk all the way to the right and I ran into a bug where there stopped being ground and background assets.
Excellent vibes. I love how it is quiet in the bunker and then desolate but also hopeful outside.
WOW, I need a full game. Like, desperately. I loved everything about this. I wish there was more to do, though.
The visuals were astonishing. The colors were just right. It's not easy to represent something with just a few pixels. But unfortunately, the gameplay was a bit lacking... I would love to have more things to do, other than collecting and eating food š¢
This is my theme :-) I like the atmosphere your game is able to create. Any vision of how you will/would develop this game further?
Fascinating how little you need to create a feeling of being in a deserted area. Paralax background, smooth walk cycle, tranquil music and footsteps. Just fine.
Really really cool game idea, I love the visuals. Definitely something you should keep developing.
One thing though, the music and radio are WAY too loud, but overall a solid game, really hope you keep working on it.
wow... this is a master pace i love it its so calm and epic great job it 10 out of 10!!! š±šmake more
