How does the game fit the theme?
Each time you defeat an enemy, an experience orb will drop. Collect them until you can use your "Ultimate", and then you can select either a "Perk" or a "Risk". Though, don't think you can get away fine by not taking anything risky, as you will be forced to take a risky move eventually.

How long can you survive?

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Defitely you folks know how to coordinate because even though you are 9 it's not easy developing something like this in a week!
Really an amazing job, aside from gameplay (that is great) I love also the main menu and the power up pick phase UI

I write you some feedbacks, hope they will be helpfull:
- I think that looking for the next door and for the enemies drop break a lot the fast-paced flow of the experience
- The UI and the art direction feels a bit inconsistent, so if you will continue to updgrade this game (pls yes) I suggest to choose a direction.
- I did not perceive a real risk when picking a power up, it if just feels more like normal game balance (I don't know if this makes sense)
On the other hand choosing the next room based on the light color (and I think the color identify the difficulty) feels a real risk and reward decision.
- I suggest to tutorialize the parry/knockback because some players could miss it!

Anyway great game, I think that it deserve the to get my best score untill now in the first 2 categories!

If you try mine, let me know what you think!

Developer

This's my first time leading a project XD

Yes it wasn't easy at all to assign task and stuff 💀

But luckily our team member were quite skilled and it turns out great! ^^

Thanks for playing and your Awesome feedbacks! > v<

(I'll definitely try yours! ;D)

Amazing game! I was sadly unable to reach level 50, but I might play this more later, it's really addicting!

The only small issue I had with this game is that one time I was using the shotgun and reloading wouldn't refill my ammo, so I was no longer able to fire. I think this is a bug, but thankfully I wasn't too far in.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked the game ;D

You can press R to reload a gun ( or maybe you got a very bad run that just remove all your ammo 😭 )

// Anyways, Hope you reached lvl50 soon! ^^

Damn this is just a fully fledged game, amzing how good it feels an sounds to play! The system of being forced into a risk once you pick 2 perks in a row also works really well to make you consider your upgrades! (Also how tf did you manage 9 people that's insane.)

Developer

Well I use a POWER OF FRIENDSHIPS!! XD

Jk, This's my first tome ever being a project lead and also with a newly made team!

I really have a hard time managing but luckily, it turn out good! ^^

Thanks for playing and I'm glad you loved it! > v<

Yo, the amount of polish in this game is AMAZING!

How did you managed  to do sound slowing down or muffled? Audio mixer effects don't work in web build afaik. Also, did you used async or coroutines in here? Seems to me that a lot of smooth effects were using tweens, right?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing!

We use lerping Pitch in Audio Source. It's simple yet effective! > v<

Submitted(+1)

So just pitch? That's great, definatelly will try that in my next game

The UI is brilliantly crafted; it's clear a master was behind it. The artwork for the main heroine on the menu is also exceptional :3
We’d love it if you gave our project a try and a rating!

You can really tell you put a lot of effort into it, and it turned out to be a beautiful game <3

That was absolutely mind blowing! I can't get over the fact that you made that in only seven days... It looks like a proper demo that has been developing for a much longer time. The overall game was really fun and juicy. The "risk" mechanic also felt good. You could get a full game out of this with some extra work. Absolutely amazing game :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing. We're glad you enjoyed the game! > v<

Felt more like a Steam Demo than a game made in just 1 week, incredible work on the music, animations and overall polish. Loved it.

Wow! For one week, this is a masterpiece. Love the graphics and all the juicy polish. The perk/risk mechanic is really cool too. The constant camera shaking during conversations is quite annoying though.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I'm very happy as you see it as a masterpiece! XD

// Camerashake is from a gunshot we couldn't fix that in time, so it stays like that T ^T

This Game is Really goddamn good, The at style, The Action, everything, PLEASE TURN THIS INTO AN ACTUAL GAAMEE PLEASE, also is it just me or is that the ultrakill parry sound?

5/5 on call categories, would give higher if I could.

Developer(+1)

Damn, thanks for a really good review XD

I'm glad you loved it! > v<

You better make this into a full game, 1 bajillon dollars and I Would still buy it (if I had the  money)

Developer

That 1 bajillon dollars goes to ultrakills parry sound XD

Had a lot of fun playing this game! Cheesecake and Yuri were some nice character pieces. I liked the card like upgrades, the enemies, and the shooting elements. I felt like the scattered boxes, pallets, etc. looked nice, but served more as a  nuisance than added something fun. It would've been super fun if all that stuff broke super easily and had xp or health inside. I would spend time breaking the boxes/ pallets looking for more health before proceeding to the next  level and gave up breaking them after not finding any. Sometimes they would block the enemies pathing, or interfere with the door to the next level. Something to consider anyways! But it was a blast! Also, let the player know what random card they got for "risk it for the biscuit"!!!  I choose it twice and couldn't fire anymore with my shotgun haha 😂 guess i must've gotten -1 bullet three times. AWESOME GAME keep up the great work 🔥👍

Developer(+2)

Thanks for playing and for such amazing feedback!

We're not quite clicked with those breakables either, and the way you pointed that out makes sense! XD
