For some reason, the hammer sound effects go really well with your music. The art style is very clean — I had tons of fun!

Was fun figuring out my build and becoming more powerful! reached lvl 11

5/7, my char is a suicidal dash freak

It's a really interesting concept to take a survivor's like and then remove almost all player agency and leave everything up to the loop, I like it! Great job

Submitted

honestly I enjoyed being able to just sit back and relax while the lil hooded guy did all the work. Sometimes it felt like I got stuck with 3 crappy options that could ruin my run (especially since I can't get rid of new abilities) but I had fun!

Thnaks for playing! :D Yeah, I had an idea to add reroll to avoid these situations.

Submitted

Pretty neat! Cute art, I made it to Level 17, I would've liked if the player could move around freely but yeah it was pretty fun

Developer

Early on I went with the auto-battler idea to focus more on abilities builds and ordering, so that was kind of the point :D

Thanks for playing!

Fun concept!  I will say the safety shield kept making me teleport away from wave 4's enemy before they could be killed :o.  I love the idea of auto-battling but I definitely also missed some element of control; I wonder if there would be an opportunity to control some limited amount of movement but not the attacks to balance both.  Regardless, nicely done!

Developer

Yeah, you can soft lock yourself early if you pick teleport and short range abilities :D.

It was kinda the point of doing autobattler and also picking movement abilities. That way is at least a bit different from all survivor-like games :D

And less stressful but still engaging to watch.

It’s a very addictive game, and surprisingly well balanced! Some move seem overpowered at first, but the number and speed of enemies force to actually make some planning to get past the 10th level.

The music and enemies do get a bit repetitive, and generally speaking it feels like the game lacks some polish, but that’s expected in a game jam. It’s already impressive to have implemented all those different moves! :)

In summary, good variety in the actions, good visual and audio feedback, that’s a solid base! Congrats~

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the game :D.

Yeah, the music was one of the last things as i was tight on time. I also planeed to make more types of enemies but also didn't managed to do it in time. I focused on adding game juice and polishing also didn't make it to the scope :D. I'm glad I managed to balance and get a good feel in the end.

Nice game! I love a good autobattler. You seem to have made a lot of varied abilities in a  such short amount of time, great job!

The visuals are simple, but works well and already have a good amount of juice to it.

The one thing I kinda want to nitpick about is the fact that the music tracks stops and restarts on every level though. It got kinda annoying because I wanted to hear the next part of the song haha. The track itself was also a bit of an odd choice for the style of the game.

Developer

Thanks! It's nice to see people enjoy it :D

Yeah, the music was one of the last things to be added, so it got less effort and attention.

Super fun!

I enjoyed the variety of items and crazy builds you can put together. I will likely check this one out again after the jam if you happen to patch it!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :D Maybe next stepp will be a full steam game!

Amazing game ! I really like the endless build variety and the loop is so satisfying ! Well done first 10/10 of the jam for me ! Gonna play this one often i think . <3

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :D  Might expand more after the game jam.

Submitted

This is a so smart autobattler. I loved it. One of my favorite entry from the jam. Great use of the loop theme and great game loop.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Really glad that you enjoyed it.

Had a lot of fun playing. The abilities also felt well-balanced, and the game scaled nicely after each level.

Developer

Thanks for playing!
Although actually abilities didn't end up taht well balanced, melee ones become worse then using bazooka :D

Submitted

i think the gameloop takes to much time, between rounds, when you use Teleport ability. Otherwhise its a great polished entry. thank you

Developer

Thanks, hope you enjoyed it! Picking teleport early might give you a soft lock if you have only close range abilities :D.

But it definately turned out to be optimal pick for later waves.

Submitted

YESS, give me more! Loving this

Developer

Thanks! :D Maybe next step is a steam extended version!

Submitted

The idea is nice but we don't move, we stay stationary, we just choose the abilities, so I didn't like it but it was nicely done.

Developer

Thanks. I guess taste has no friends :D. It was intentional like this, if you moved, it would be more like vampire survivors. But this way, you pick different movement mechanics and order them strategically, so it's a bit more strategically involved!

Submitted

Fun to play, kept me invested. Only starting the first time and Immediately choosing something to add is confusing since you have not experienced the game yet at that point. Maybe you could have added the slash as the first action everyone starts with and then introduce new ones after you have experienced one loop. But still, great work! :)

Developer

Yeah, that part was made like that due to the lack of time :D but it doesn't hurt core gameplay. Glad you enjoyed it!

Submitted

Awesome game reminded me of vampire survivors

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, core loop seems very similar. Although interestingly idea didn't come up from survivor-like but more from autobattlers. But I guess it looks like both.

Submitted

I played this for way longer than I thought I would haha. I wasn't always sure where the next ability would be placed on my loop so sometimes I would create a great combo and sometimes I would mess it all up. Quite slow in the beginning but it does get very satisfying!

Developer

Hey!
Don't know if you missed but you can arrange the order of abilities to make better syngergies! Just drag one ability and drop it on another to swap places.

Submitted

OMG! Amazing

Submitted

Very fun and satisfying game with a cool and unique concept!

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
