Sent an email to Jerma, lets see what happens lol

I like that dizziness is tied to gameplay. Second game this jam I see to use this as a mechanic - which I think is a pretty good idea (I got quite dizzy playing a lot of games lol).

The controls got me a bit and took getting used to. I think having some on screen display (e.g., arrows) showing which direction my key pressed would take me to would be nice. Though I did play with keyboard so maybe that made it a lot harder >.>

Thanks for producing some fine art!

Thank you <3

Regarding the mouse spin, yea we kinda made you rotate the mouse in a circle at first, but that caused issues in the WebGL build so we decided to make it left/right movement. But then we got more WebGL issues of mouse going outside of the window and changed it to mouse delta, which should of worked with the circular motion, but it was too late to change…

Sadistic balloons :D Loved the audio and visuals, on point for the theme as well. My head is spinning slightly from tracking all of the visitors lol.

If I were to change one thing it’d be the overlay on top of the carousel being always transparent as I’d often forget about the balloons.

The first game from this jam that I played which incorporates dizziness as a mechanic, I enjoyed it, thanks for the game!

Yea it could be that, I’m on a Intel Mac, tho I did play some Mac games made with Unity this jam

I love me a good and goofy physics game. Amazing that you managed to get leaderboards in.

I had to download the win build as the webgl one would crash my browser (FF/Brave, idk why it just hangs).

I enjoyed experimenting with various abilities. Bound dash and jump by accident to the same key which I think was pretty funny and serious :D

My main issue tho is I got super dizzy and couldn’t play for too long

Very original idea & quick to start and get into. I esp appreciate that on failure the reload is very quick, which makes failing not that painful.

Some improvements I’d make:

  • Add a small 0.9-1.1 pitch variation when picking up stuff, as the collectable sound is a bit repetitive
  • When falling down a small zoom out to the camera would help land on cars easier
  • It seems that the direction of the gum on the wheel doesn’t have an impact on the launch direction? Maybe this would be interesting to play around

Thanks for the play! We were considering with my bro if it should be hard to spin the crank or not. During dev I could hear him move his mouse like crazy when developing the mechanic and it seemed funny to leave it as is :D

Got stuck after logging in too, could not exit the screen and progress

Simple & quick to get into. Played a couple of runs - am satisfied

You should try https://pazulay.itch.io/spaint, it does exactly that :D

Gaining a lot of speed and releasing intentionally to fly off into the distance is very fun. Also I love the music track

Was quite difficult to play, got 6055! The spinning arena adds an interesting twist to combat where going in one direction helps you avoid enemies/projectiles more easily - so you’re always biased towards it

Got that old school sonic adventure vibe, well done! The game did get a bit laggy once I got to the fountain area (mac, webgl)

Started off quite slow but then in a few minutes got pretty chaotic - I love it

urp gorp glorporp heep burp thurp aleep

The world spinning mechanic is quite unique. Big Z tho kept wanting me to pay respects, which I kept doing but nothing happened :(

I can relate to this game in the current heatwave

Quite enjoyed the game and got to lvl 56. The spaghetti wheel was not kind to me :D

I think the mac build is broken and has missing files :( Couldn’t run it

Got yeeted on lvl 2 by the archers, they off-screened me :D If I were to improve this, making the walls bouncy and some combo meter for charging up the attack faster would juice this game up quite a lot

I enjoyed the visuals and the music (esp the screaming one :D), tho was confused whats going on and my mac heated up like crazy so I had to stop playing petty quickly q.q

I liked that you can hold the mouse and draw the path as the ball rolls. Just as I played for ~2mins going into infinity my Mac somehow crashed and had to restart :S Nevertheless if there was more level instead of empty space this could be p fun

NGL, I suck at this game and didn’t have the patience to make tunes, but the visuals, audio and mood are top notch

Perfect game for summer vibes, I wish my lawnmower was this fast so I wouldn’t have to bake in the searing heat :D

The production line must continue

The guy staring at me doesn’t seem to happy witnessing me become rich in minutes :D

Great minds think alike

(1 edit)

I can’t double jump over one of the first few blocks in the game. The jump seems to trigger very inconsistently, feels like it’s tied to the framerate perhaps or some browser issue?

Exactly :D

Juice is a type of blood

We we’re thinking that those last few bits could autofill so you don’t have to hunt them down or something similar

Thanks for playing! We’re already addressing 2. and are thinking of how to better use the bombing mechanic.

Could you elaborate on 1. a bit more? Are you referring to how the ground blends in with other objects in the level or just general lack of texture/contrast on it?

Damn… I did make the build quite hastily on my old MacBook, I’ll check this out again once I have some time. Thanks for the note!
