Pretty nice entry! I actually couldn't figure out what the number on the target meant. So I got stuck and couldn't get the door to open.

But the mechanic is cool and creative.

Cool and creative gameplay. I like the style of the game. Although it is difficult to get a specific number from the revolver. Would be glad if you checked out our game too!

This was really fun to play! the gameplay was intuitive and the indicators helped a ton, I eventually figured out that the bullet ricochets based on how much power you put into the shot. the bullets ricocheting off of the cactus guys made it tricky, but overall this game had me hooked for a while!

Simple but gameplay fit well in theme, it so enjoyable.

Great idea! Shooting the bullet felt really good, I love the indicator for where you'll land and I was so thankful there were checkpoints. Overall great job, fantastic!

I love how simple but elegant the main mechanic is. It’s a very nice gameplay loop. The presentaiton is awesome as well. It reminds me a lot of Desvelado, mabye that’s a coincidence? Aynways, great job!

Developer

Yes the chara design is very inspired by Desvelado's main character, good job seeing that ! Or my bad for not having a style that got away of my main inspiration ... Anyway thank you !

Art is adorable. I like that you need to avoid your own bullets while shooting to move. The charge mechanism works well with the move mechanism . I’m not sure if this game needs enemies, though,  or maybe they could move slower. Right now, it feels a bit unforgiving in some parts of the game. Still, it’s a really fun game. Well done!

so cute. bouncy bullets are interesting. Love the cat :) nice!

Very nicely polished, simple mechanic but a nice twist!

i like the style and the writing, it's meshes really well with the way the gun sounds, the art of the game and the whole dying to bouncing bullets

but i can't say i really like the shoot to move mechanic , it meshes really badly with the bouncing bullets killing you and often the way to avoid a bullet is to fire another that can then kill you

i like the core idea  but i feel like it can work with normal movement speed, possibly leaning more into timing the loopy gun, and possible making some form of loop with bullets idk

great work either way!

Howdy partner, have I got a trick for you! Y'all can just shoot blanks if you time y'alls shot right. Just fire as soon as it hit 1 on the bullet counter. That way y'all can safely travel the west.

Developer

It's indeed a way to travel safely though the west, but ... ain't no fun if there's no danger !

Also as a wise old guy' once told me : "It's not a bug, it's a feature"

Great take on the "Shoot to move" mechanic, really clever writing, only suggestion would be to have a clearer "stand" box, like a shadow or something to make it clearer what counts as on the floor, I fell a couple of times which was a bit annoying, but again great job overall!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback ! Didn't knew how to make the text move visible without deforming the style of the text or making it too big but your idea is very good

I LOVE IT.
So creative. Great for the theme. Very fun writing.
Kickass.

I can't wait to get home from work to play the whole thing.

Developer

Thank you so much ! That's very heartwarming to read <3

A really interesting take on the idea of shooting to move. Loved the narrative and the danger of the stray bullets.

nice concept, shot myself multiple time, didn't fully understand how target count was working though

liked the humour and fast respawn when dying, level design is done nicely

good job!

Uniqueness in  mechanism

This was a very fun time the movement felt very good and it was cool to dodge ur bullets at the last moment! i enjoyed the different ways teh mechanic was used ie with enemies to kill and other things to shoot that mess up your positioning!

Submitted

very creative way to use recoil for movement, and your own bullets make u strategize how u shoot! is a bit unforgiving with the one shot kill while enemies take more but overall a nice challenging game! we share a cowboy theme in our games :D

A cute feline character is always a win in my book. The shoot to move mechanic with its risks is something I haven’t seen before, it’s a great way to balance the rate at which you traverse the world. Great work on this!

Fun and enjoyed a lot
