hi, thanks a lot for your feedback and for playing the game! We're glad you enjoyed it! :D

we'll probably expand on the game and make it a bit more content, mechanics and systems heavy so it adds play time without being too boring or too inflated artificially

we appreciate your help as well, we'll probably get back to you once the game is a bit more complete to see how we can collaborate :)

We'll probably set up a discord server to share progress pics when the game gets a bit more content and polish, I'll let you know about it if you're still up to it :)

hi, thanks for your feedback! we'll probably keep on working on it yeah, let's see how it goes! :)

thanks a lot for your feedback! 🙏

thanks a lot for your kind words and valuable feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed playing the game! :D

we'll probably expand on the game and polish it a lot more / enhance menus / add more juice to it, also adding the coins display in shop and easier menu management to be able to open multiple at once 👍

Cool Idea, I took some times to understand everything haha but that's on me. Did all 4 right on the beginning and started burning 3 of them lmao. The risk is well balanced imo and even though at first I was thinking there was not much reward, it's quite fun to play once you get used to it. The visuals and audio fits well, great job !

thanks a lot for your feedback and playing!

yeah, systems were focuses first to be flexible enough allow to add a lot of content quickly without being a pain (adding an achievement or upgrades takes like 5 mins now without being a pain)

we tried godot / unity in our first jams but I couldn't like them (unity compilation time / and godot gdscript & way of things), so went for a much more closer solution to 3D engine (without being a game engine) but still compatible with web, it was quite a blast to develop in ! :D

I'll maybe try bevy & rust next time then export to wasm for web support, we'll see

Chill game, the music fits perfectly the game, and quite addictive to play, I didn't reach all mystery cause I wanted to have the time to rate before the limit. Visuals are cute, great job! EDIT : Oh, I didn't see the time limit isn't 11.30 CEST. BRB

Also music is on point with the graphics, nice choice 😎

Thanks a lot for your feedback and playing the game! Glad you enjoyed it!

It's a weird bug about the scrolls bars, which browser did you play on ?

And yeah, making it with threejs was quite a challenge but really satisfying to deliver! :D

I tried to play the game but I can't interact with the environment I believe...

I'm on macbook (chrome up to date) with a touch pad, is the left button / right button plugged for touchpad inputs too ?

Or maybe I'm not using the controls correctly ? Let me know 🙏

I didn't rate the game at the moment, I'll let my friend do it (he's on windows with a real mouse lol)

Games look fun though!

Hahahah, I'm glad you liked it ! We'll probably expand the game after the jam, we'll let people know about it if there's updates ! :)

So far it's the game where I had the most fun playing this game in this jam! Managed to score up to 4:12 mins, I wanted to screenshot but game reset by itself

I'm not sure how the scarecrow works, he spawns then makes all the crows go away ? what's its cooldown exactly ?

Carrot gun is powerful at the beginning but I feel like it not worth it when you're close to the end where crows comes from everywhere, chairs can hit multiples one in circle, so it felt better

also I don't think the reduce cooldown powerup works, I felt like it didn't change delay between attacks

really cool game!

Well, it's clearly even better, I really liked it, I think there is some hitbox issue sometime, especially with the aerial even if you kill the enemy you take the hit when you're just in front but not when you're cleary on him, it is a bit frustrating. The pause seems a bit fast to replay tho, I got killed countless time just after buying an upgrade. In conclusion I think there is some balancing to make but the game is clearly fun. Awesome job in 2 & half day

At first I was like oh it's ez, then I discovered the table with their hardcore hitbox and random spawn, It got me addict, the game is cool. Simple but good idea, cute visuals, music fits well. Great job. EDIT : Oh damn I'm stupid, I didn't see there was an ability shop, wait, I'll try it

Impressive for an 11 year old, I didn't understand the chair part with UPD ? But I like the visuals, it's well made and I got rich. Great job

Farming chair, nice. Liked the visuals, I would have liked to have a bit more features, but it's chill. Good job

I don't know if it's me who's doing something wrong, but I don't have a shop ? I tried to follow the turorial and got even like 200 wood but I don't know, the music is funny and I suppose the reason behind why allowing visit won't work it's because I couldn't reach a chair ?

('3D guy' answering here) - I'm glad you liked both the game and the art, and that you gave him a chance despite being really slow at the begginning ! :D

Yes as my friend said it was all on blender and not painted on top of it, I was sad at the beginning but I got surprised by the result and happy for finding this 'style' in the end. UVs and Texturing were kinda rushed because this workflow doesn't need to think about texture weight or exporting as 3d object, Texturing was made with the free layer add-on Ucupaint, I used some pbr to work faster and draw on top of it with a tablet. Did the animation with fast & simple/custom rigs, used the free add-on stop mo to have a fast preview of the step I needed for the 2D/drawing style, then ajusted the step in the render setting, and exported as multiple frame. For the rendering, yes I used perhaps 5/6 different camera (in orthographic view) depending the items and angle (same for grease pencil), this number gave a better control and non destructive workflow.

Aseprite was used just for trimming, fast quality check and exporting quickly as spritesheet.

Hope it will give you all the information you needed :p ! Thanks again

thanks a lot for your feedback !

thanks a lot for your feedback !

yeah balancing is quite difficult to handle right, even more in game jam context... but I'm glad you had fun, this is really cool to see people having fun with it ! :D

thanks a lot for playing !

some achievements are secrets, to give you a hint; use your whistle (maybe a lot 👀)

thanks a lot for your feedback ! I wanted to reproduce the flip effect from it indeed, really liked how it turned out <3

thanks a lot for your feedback !

thanks a lot for your feedback ! yeah whistle sounded like a nice addition in order to control team from far away, testing would be quite a pain otherwise, glad players likes it too !

about the art pipeline, we modelized everything (all assets were made during game jam time frame) into blender, then the idea was to rig and animate models to export a spritesheet then draw on top of it to have a hand made style, but it already took a lot of time to modelize and animate stuff, so we went full 3D and rendered assets from blender, imported into aseprite, added a white outline for interactable elements and exported as sprite (webp for better perf / compression) and spritesheets

at the end I realized I could gain some perfs using sprites atlases (did it for trees / grass variants)

was quite a challenge and rush but somehow got a satisfying game  🙏

thanks for your feedback! and yeah wasn't easy to implement all of it with threejs but managed to do it (somewhat) lol

thanks a lot for playing <3

It's actually a pretty ambitious project to implement all of theses features with only one dev in 2 &  1/2 days to be honest. Good job to make it at this point. Took a bit of time to understand yes, but I could see the potential. I had some trouble at the night, outside of the scarecrow (which costs a bit too much in my opinion) it seems like fighting was really hard so I just kept running again and again. Also I had some bugs with the QWER sometimes.

Clearly not a fan of using AI to generate art, I can understand it is hard on time in a game jam, but it is part of the challenge.

Interesting use of the chair with this concept, satisfying to play, art is cute, music also.

Sad, but you know you can update/fix bug ? So you still can change it if you want !

BANGER, I really liked your game, great concept and use of the object, art and music feel great too.. Give me a leaderboard and you can be sure I'll farm this, a timer during the game also would be cool. Also, I would have liked two Key to move the chair Left/Right as well in addition to mouse, not a fan of the mouse in a corner of the screen. Awesome Job!

Thanks for your answer, It's cool to know. Great job again!

BTB horror lmao, I got some bugs in two of my try while someone was sitting on me but I couldn't eat him and was stuck. Interesting concept, like the music also

Damn, the snake level surprised me, great idea, I think the bounce mechanic is kinda too stiff and too simple at the same time, perhaps a system around it would with amelioration or I don't know would be great. Was fun, grea job.

I really like this 3D style, and it gives a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The idea is cool, the game is polished, a lot of fonctionality and possiblity with the machines. Also, the unboxing is juicy, great job.

diabolical laug, gameplay is simple and easily comprehensible, that's a nice game

It’s a nice concept, there’s plenty of color, and the music is catchy
