A fun idling music game. Plenty of opportunity to expand it, but in the meantime a really good demo of your audio talents! Thanks for sharing! :D

I think it's a great start! I loved the music, everything sounded really good together. The only issue I had was that I sometimes couldn’t play more than two instruments at once, they kept snapping back to their original positions. Same thing happened with the discard pile. But overall, great vibes,  just needs a little bit of fixing

What  a great idea. This was fun. Definitely needs tuning (;) ) though to make it more "puzzler".  Maybe where the structure of a good song is more part of it.  The music is great and the art is pretty slick too.

I think only the third or so musical interpretation of the theme I've seen so far. I think this concept has legs, but yeah, as others have mentioned, the randomness aspect doesn't really help the game I think. I'd probably prefer it if all the instruments were available at all the time and difficulty came from somewhere else.

I think this is a fun idea, but having to wait for instruments to randomly appear is a bit frustrating. Especially when the drums just wouldn't come up. Being able to put them back on the table and grab what you need when you need it I think would work a bit better.

Developer

Yeah the unset randomness is harsh, it's sadly something I didn't have the time to fix. As for placing it back on the table or discarding it, my idea was forcing the player to make interesting choices about which instruments to hold and to discard, but perhaps that's something to work out later. Even so, thanks for the feedback!

Really fun little toy / game - all the different instruments I tried sounded really great together, and it was very intuitive and straightforward to pick up and make some music! Did you compose the music loops yourself?

Developer(+1)

Yes I did! I used Musescore to compose for all the instruments, and then Audacity to make sure it went into Godot correctly :D

Nice little experience where you can mix audio loops together. I sadly could not get more than 2 loops placed down at the same time. Whenever I dragged something into the center slot, it would just snap back to the original location that I grabbed it from. Overall very calm and chill vibe.

Developer

It should be possible to have a maximum of 3 loops active at the same time, so that means somewhere is a bug I managed to miss... Even so, thanks for playing!

Some of the feedback are off, but the overall experience was so pleasing. I loved it !

Developer

Glad you loved it! Just out of curiosity, which feedback is off according to you?

It's hard to know where you are scoring points or not. Do you score the max points when at least one player is satisfied ? or is it multiplied by the number of player satisfied ? Some of the players are still frowning even if they are happy and scoring points. Maybe you should add a green circle when they are happy, or just grey them out when they are not happy.

This is cool! I love how the different tracks all mix together, it was fun trying new combos and just jamming out. I’d love to see a more fleshed out scoring system, but I also had fun just vibing to the music.

Nice job!

Developer

Thanks so much! Yeah the scoring system was something that I had to slap onto the game with very little time, but once I continue the game I'll make sure to put more focus into that!

I loved how no matter what kind of weird combination I made, it always sounds good.

Liked playing this game. The music sounds great when added together, but the RNG wasn't on my side. I needed drums, and the game just straight up denied me the drums for over 2 minutes.

But after all nice game, good job!
