I'll see if I can get it on video tonight

The little tweaks to the monster really made the experience waaaay more enjoyable, and now it feels more than a horror game, nice job! Such small changes like reducing the speed and pausing the game with the notes made my playtrough so much better, and this time I decided to go for both endings (and even got the well ending twice! I got that one first and wanted the bunny to have a nice ending after completing the other one, lol). Although sometimes I didn't feel like the monster ever stopped chasing me, especially after getting an ending for the first time. But even then, it felt waaay more manageable with the reduced speed. So much better overall!

Oh so that's just my pc being shitty lol, sorry, I thought that was the normal speed

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! I do agree with what you said about the last set of levels, most of the level design was made at the last hours and I was running out of time. Glad you liked the game, thank you very much!

It's a cool adaptation of the classic game and a good interpretation of the theme, but the gameplay felt waaay too slower than it should have been. Maybe you could have raised the speed after the second stage, most of the time I was just standing waiting for the ball to come to me.

I liked your idea, pretty original with a kinda funny narrative to accompany it and really good lightning effects. But yeah, I do agree with the other commenters that the gun is pretty useless. Also, and this is more kinda my pc's fault, but the game started to lag for me after some night/day cycles, I guess because there were way too many zombies on screen. I still enjoyed though, good game

A cute, easy game, that is satisfying and good to play, good job! It's also very well optimized, I'm surprised a shitty pc like mine can run it smoothly. Maybe a couple more levels could have been great, but overall it is a really solid and very polished entry

I love the concept, but it gets too hard way too fast, and it's reaaally punishing

Oh my fricking god I love this. The atmosphere is amazing, the vibes are amazing, a quite simple narrative but with a twist, and the simple yet effective horror, oh my god. You sir made me turn my lights on and look at every loading black screen to see if I saw that goddamn face again. I completely felt like I was the protagonist of one of those old creepypastas I used to read years ago. I'd just like to point out two small issues: when going from one of the webpages to the main page, the page is cut off at the bottom and I can't see the input field, and that one second puzzle is kinda confusing, I thought I had to decipher that caesar encoding but it didn't have anything to do with it. Still, these are really small issues and I'm impressed by your submission, I definitely got a new favorite for this jam. Amazing job

Really cute game, nice job! Would be cool to have ways to control your speed and go faster, as some "empty" loops would slow down the gameplay a bit, but good work overall! I have been reading your comments and the ideas you have and I do think some of those could have improved the overall gameplay a lot, but yeah in a jam there's not much time for a lot of stuff.

I'd be lying if I said I understood what I played. It lacks a good lot of feedback In the dungeon sections, it looked like I wasn't moving but the movement counter was going up. And during the fights, I didn't understand the health bars, those are not straightforward and I just randomly stumbled upon doors and got back to the dungeon part. After two fights, I just got stuck on the dungeon, I went up to 250 movements and the room did not change at all. You say this is part of a larger universe, and for that I encourage you to fix all of these problems and keep working on the game

The artwork here is pretty amazing, as well as the juiciness, and it does feel pretty polished. But the match the loop part really was not explained well, and I couldn't have gotten it without watching the walkthrough.

Well, some godot games just don't run at all for me

Very satisfying game and vfx, and I guess this is too much to ask, but could have benefited from a hints system or something like that. Some levels are way too hard. It's a great idea, but could have used a little more polish. Keep working on it!

This is such an amazing game with a lovely art style! it almost feels kinda nostalgic, I seriously love the vibes. But I couldn't get past level 2, the spiders' hitbox is bigger than it should be and the blocks pushing you out of the level are kinda annoying. Still, an amazing piece of art and I for sure will come back to finish this one, good job!

It's a fun little game, maybe a bit too easy, but with a cool concept, I really liked the juiciness of the damage animation. But the audio feels too saturated, especially the laser one. I'd heavily suggest changing it or at least lowering the volume. Other than that, pretty solid submission, good job

Of the games with a concept similar to this, this one has one of the best level design of them, and also a cute little narrative. Also, the fact that you and your clones move one step at a time creates more strategic approaches. The concept and the idea is there, but sadly it lacks polish and you run out of time to finish on the levels. But it does have potential, keep working on it!

The vibes are amazing and the simple, minimalist art style is perfect. The gameplay, however, is a little bit tedious and slow.  The statue's behavior felt kinda weird (although that heavily contributed to the vibes and making me anxious), and the one at the lambda stairs was just stuck in a corner. I also don't understand the inclusion of a timer, it just makes the going upstairs even more tedious because you'll have to do it more times. This has potential to become a great exotic "horror" game, so I hope you keep working on it after the jam!

Honestly, that's an actually unique concept. Good level design, great way using colors to identify ghosts' behaviors and a great implementation overall, your game is surely underrated. My main gripe is that the difficulty in your levels should start low, the first level feels pretty hard when you're just getting used to the mechanics and controls.

Trying to make a stanley parable-like game for a 4 days jam is really ambitious, especially considering it focuses on the different endings you can get and the freedom the player has to basically do what he wants.  What could have really improved the experience would have been voice acting, proper walking animations and variation on the footsteps sfx. Overall, I think you still have a lot to improve here, and I really hope you do after the jam

Hey there! I wanted to try your game, but it looks like I can't. When I open it, I get audio, but just a black screen. I'm guessing this is because of my old gpu, the godot console gives a lot of shader errors. I'm really sorry!

Hey, I really wanted to play your game because I'm really a fan of non euclidean games and experiences, but I seem to have problems with it. My gpu is really old so I guess it's because of that. Here's a picture of how it looks.

I really loved this idea, the physics and the look are amazing, but I have a couple of problems with the game. First, there is a bug that, if you place some points and delete them all, for some reason you can't place them anymore, and it forces you to restart the entire game. It's frustrating, and for this reason I couldn't get to finish it. Also, this one i guess it's my fault, but the camera moves way too much when trying to do so, and I think it's because of my low framerate. Still, really good game, and it's really impressive that you managed to do all of this in such a short time, nice job!

A really unique twist on the cloning idea! I loved how you implemented it in the narrative and created a highly enjoyable experience. Running around with (or on top of) your clones it's really fun! Only thing I'd say is that the movement feels a little buggy sometimes, you can get stuck on corners and have to reset the level entirely. Still, it's a great game that looks good and feels good to play, nice job

The story was really good and immersive, I liked it. The game felt a little bit too easy, except for the boss. Also, a little bug I find is that, if you grab one card just after using another one, you can use it, even if you have not enough energy, lowering you down to negative energy.

Great narrative and such an original idea, love it! I had a blast during the playtime and even restarted it to get the last girl the item she actually needed! Though the hypnosis scenes do feel kinda forced, I still enjoyed even that. Amazing job!

Whoa, this is INCREDIBLE. An interesting idea, smooth and responsive gameplay, AMAZING visuals with a nice effect that really makes you feel you are looping on a cardboard cylinder. Seriously, my only problem with this game is that it ends (and the fact that I did not understand why I got cursed in the cutscene, but that's maybe me being dumb). Amazing job!

One of the best takes on the surround something theme! It's really immersive and unique

Really cool and creative idea! The game was fun and smooth to play, and although it was pretty easy, it made for a fun little experience, nice job!

Also, I've been having way too much fun just exploding cars in free roam lol

I reaaaaally am a fan of games like these, gives there is no game vibes. You did an amazing job, and I'd say this one's my favorite of the entire jam.

While this is a common idea, you made it yours and added unique twists to it. I liked your implementation a lot, nice work!

It's good, but I feel the level design could have been better, a lot of the levels have lots of stuff you don't really interact with

Really polished and amazing visuals! I'd maybe suggest adding an option to upgrade the ship to make it lighter, it feels hard to go up

Good idea, such a shame that the second level is apparently impossible due to a last minute change.

(1 edit)

The concept is good and interesting, but I think could have been implemented better. Sometimes I don't feel that the gameplay is actually synced with the rhythm. Adding more "juice" could help the game feel better (even simple stuff like making the background or the rockets pulse to the beat of the song surely will elevate the experience). Overall, you have a great foundation here, and I do hope you keep building upon it.

One of the best creative ideas, for sure. Although not really for me (i'm bad at math), I still enjoyed trying to put together the numbers and see if they made sense. Good job!

Pretty solid idea and implementation, I like it! My only problem is that sometimes the tracks get disconnected in weird ways, but other than that good job!

The artwork is pretty amazing, and the idea is really creative. It was a really fun experience, and has a lot of potential to build upon it, loved it! Also, could I get a pre approval for a sneeze next tuesday? I clicked accept and I think I owe you my soul now

I liked the idea, but I feel it could have been implemented in a better way. Most of the time you're not actually "dying" to progress, you're just pressing k to leave a box and retry, which is also a little buggy. Still, I think it's a nice idea that you can work on after the jam ends

I loved how you implemented the loop in your narrative, not as in a time looping or same day because of routine, but because of memory losing. The artwork and the sounds effects really add to the ambiance, and the story is really good. Nice work!
