Really creative and I enjoyed playing! I think it is a really good idea, kind of hard to focus on surviving and collecting though... but overall well done!
Found it a bit difficult to both survive and collect motes at the same time but I had a blast trying (til I ran out of strength on my mouse)

Wow this game looks so so cool. It feels very fun to play, although I feel like it could use a bit more polishing. Still, definitely the highlight of it is the art - out of this world, but the mechanic blows my mind. Amazing. 10/10

This is really fun and well-designed! My first thought was, I want to be able to draw specific shapes to do unique effects, or get rewarded for trailing around multiple enemies in figure 8s or at the same time... I could definitely see this being a roguelike with stacking mechanics. Very nicely done!
Love the “Pokemon Rangers”-esque mechanics! I was really hoping I would see a game like this in the jam and you answered my prayers!
The game is quite fun and entertaining, especially as you try to balance the need to draw circles to kill enemies and at the same time gather the shadow drops to escape. Moreover, the pixel art is cute and gives it a pleasant feel, good job!
This rules! Keeping track of where your last orbs were so you don’t overwrite them trying to grab motes made this really challenging, I haven’t played enough OSU to say I’m very good at it but it was still fun! I’d love to see this expanded on, either make the shadow motes easier to collect, or alter what kind of attack you do based on the circle you draw. Doing little circles to get the attacks placed where you wanted seemed like the most reliable strategy in this version.

Yeah, haha! I've played your game now and see what you mean! We actually thought of a paperwork and signature game as well when we were brainstorming!
Of course it's a game jam so i'd cut you some slack for this, but it's a little unsatisfying that the damage areas don't match the circle you draw! I get that you don't want the player to just totally cover the screen but I'm sure you could add stuff like bombs that hurt you if you select them or something to avoid that. I feel like this could be a lot more fun but my wrist hurt playing it. Also it would've been nice to have a portal animation at the end or something, it's a shame! Nevertheless, relatively fun to play
Hey thanks for the feedback! Get where you're coming from with the loop drawing not matching the damage areas. We had issues coding up a solution that ran well and was balanced for full loops so went with the simple circles you see in game. I like the suggestion of bombs/loop deterents, certainly consider that if we revisit this project - 2 days wasn't enough time! On the dev team we've all had to rest our wrists since playtesting, so not alone :)
Good game with nice visuals! A little difficult to know where the damaging blobs will form in your circle of magic.
