How does your game fit the theme?
You are stuck in a time loop reliving the same dungeon dying everytime, but unlocking more and more with every cycle until you are strong enough to beat the boss.

I really enjoyed this game, but has some stuff to be polished (normal for a jam)
The hud is 10/10 the enemies even being 2 they are fun (the dashing one does too much dmg imo, but its fine), the sounds and music are really really nice and the looks and design over all too. The feeling while playing it was excepcional!
My problem was that i felt like buying sutff didnt do much, i think they dont stack, or didnt feel like. I dont underestand what dash +1 does, its not another dash so i asume is more range. It feels bad to get to the room 3 and you have to kill yourself, it would be nice if you looped the same rooms 3 times in a row geting more souls, or going to the boss after the 3 rooms. The boss felt impossible even after looping 15 times and buying everything every time, maybe was my skills, if so, im sorry^^’
This is one of the games that keep me playing because felt so good and was interesting, i hope you get high ratings because you guys deserve it, really well done
Pretty difficult and hard to understand, but insanely polished. Great job!
I like the combat, almost beat the rat boxer but the game crashed :c
Good game however it needs an option to change the sensitivity. Also should make upgrades stack so that each run you get stronger than the previous one
Retro-shooter rogue-like is a pretty unusual gameplay compared not only to other jam entries, but to other games of that genres. It would like to have more polish, and it feels like a lot more content was originally planned. Right now, it feels like you either have to grind a lot or find loopholes to progress. Still, the graphics and style are awesome!
(Picking the shotgun at the start definitely was a mistake, the revolver is the best)
This was a blast! The movement was actually really smooth, and felt very polished. Challenge was actually appreciated and kept me retrying!
Love the retro fps style! pretty hard though and it's nice to gain power over runs!
Pretty fun game, the enemies hit so hard though look so "cute". Quite polished though I think keep going through the corridors to farm power up get repetitive quite quick. Also the few rooms in the game does not provide much coverage, a bit more play with elevation can be neat, since the game seems like it already allow it
This is a really cool game, and I love the artwork! My only complaint would be that the boss feels a little unfair, since the dash takes too long to charge back up.
The enemy is amazing! I really love the 2D sprite with all its animation it has so much character!
I'm too old for this type of game, but I did find it fun and very polished.
It reminds me of OG Doom and such. I think the game looks very good, the animations are awesome, and the gunplay feels satisfying. My only complaint is the difficulty, but again, that could be just me
Honestly, you should finish this game, just keep polishing and adding stuff, and I bet it'd sell great on Steam or on here
This is the first 9/10 I'm giving out ^^
I'm awful playing this kind of games, but yours is very well made. I must point out that I cheesed the boss by shooting him from the gate, although I love games that allow things like that 🤷
Good job 👍
Great job with your game! I had a fun time playing it and exploring the map.
Very good game. Good physics, great mechanics and the final boss was a lot of fun.
