Congrats on 42! As the narrative designer, it means a lot to hear that you'll be taking inspiration.

Shoot, sorry that happened. I'm not sure why it would. Glad you enjoyed the game, even if it dragged on a little long!

This was an excellent puzzle game and did a lot with the theme. Great work!

Great concept, lots of content, perfectly fits the theme. Kudos all around!

Couldn't really figure it out, but the art was cool

Really unique concept, the polish was on point too. Overally great jam entry!

Very wonderful experience. Reminescent of monopoly, but not in a bad way.

Interesting art style, and gimmick. I like it a lot!

Even though the game is just memorization, there's enough polish that it's actually quite fun!

Pretty difficult and hard to understand, but insanely polished. Great job!

Thank you so much! Yeah, we were inspired those shark games a lot.

Great game, just got a little monotonous

Thank you so much!

Yeah .rar requires a file archiving application to extract, which out-of-the-box Windows does not have to my knowledge. I was unable to open the project.

Gameplay was easy to understand, puzzles were fun, kudos to you!

This game has a really cool concept, but has some considerable design pitfalls that made me quit right after completing all the double jump sections. I really wish that the levels weren't completely random, it got super monotonous super fast, and I was dreading adding more rolls to the random pool. Instead of the "dice-roll" style approach, I think a "deck of cards" approach would have been much stronger, where repeat rooms won't appear until you've cleared all the rooms in your current pool. This would have substantially cut down on how much I had to grind through levels while still keeping the core of the concept.

Also, I wish that the upgrades were more impactful in completing earlier levels. There are some levels that I feel should have been beatable in a new way with the double-jump, but just barely weren't, and I had to complete them in the exact same way despite being upgraded. I can't speak for what the other upgrades do because I never got them.

Overall, this is one of the more creative concepts in the jam and a great take on the metroidvania genre. I feel like with some design polish, it could be a super cool experience.

Fun arcade game, not super sure what was going on though.

Beautiful game, could use some polish, but overall it's a really good experience.

Windows build does not work

The art was really solid, but I found myself struggling to progress

Really cool interpretation of the theme, I enjoyed this a lot. I just wish there were a few more levels.

Similar to other entries, but really solid execution. The post-process effects really carry the art style and give it this great retro feel.

Thank you so much, I had a ton of fun adding the small stories around the city.

Thank you so much for playing (P.S. You can spare the pig)

Sweet and simple, really good use of resources to develop!

Thanks for playing. We based our ouroboros on this medieval alchemist's drawing.

Thank you so much! As the person who implemented the text popups, most of the work went into stressing whether my writing was good enough.

Don’t worry I get in my head about graphics too, I did the environment for my submission. You did a great job!

No idea, you could have a memory leak somewhere, but unless other people experience that issue I wouldn’t worry about it.

Really solid all around. From one ouroboros dev to another, I think you did a lot more with the puzzle aspect than most. If I had one complaint I wish restarting a level was faster, I'm dumb and messed up a lot so it got a little annoying to sit through the animation, even if it's only a few seconds. Amazing game tho, I had a blast!

Lacking a lot of polish, but it's a pretty fun way to kill 3 minutes

Artwork hits hard, and the concept is simple, but well executed. Unfortunately, I was unable to complete it as I ran out of memory right before defeating the third (and I assume last) enemy. Overall really good experience and super on theme.

This is one of the better submissions to this jam. The premise is really interesting, and while you provided a very small amount of content, it was super well executed on and required a lot of genuine attention toward the narrative. Great job! I'd love to see this turned into a full game.

It was certainly interesting, the high fov made it hard to understand what was going on. Felt like an artpiece.

The puzzles are good, but moving the box around is weird. Loved the pixel art style though. Great jam entry!

Cute little game. Love the simplicity.  I loved the graphics for the donut.

Really fun game. It's extremely polished and simple which I really appreciate.

A little hard to control, but I still enjoyed it a lot

Cool idea, hard to figure out though.

It was really hard to control, but still pretty fun!
