Cute and silly, and it really does seem like something you’d find in the early NES collection. High=4400

Developer

thanks for playing

5200 was the highest I got. I think it’s a very original concept and fits the NES style perfectly. The game has beautiful graphics and the audio is really pleasant. I love the difficulty progression — it offers a great challenge and gives the game a lot of replayability. Very well done!

Developer

thanks! 5200 is around what I could get consistently

5400 points!

This was a lot of fun!  Simple to pick up and play but very challenging and addicting.  I like that you can jump and shrink quickly to get out of a tight spot, this really helps to add variety and different playstyles to go for the high score.

I would have liked to see some power-ups, maybe something that slows down the projectiles temporarily or a score multiplier.

Oh and I forgot to mention -  this game would DESTROY your thumb if it was played on a NES controller!  Spamming the d-pad on that thing would be very painful :D

Developer

I did find that out when I was adding dpad support haha. Thanks for playing. 5400 is what I could usually reach.

6000 was my best; pretty fun little arcade game! Personally I feel like this belongs on an old cabinet more than the NES, it plays very quickly (like it's trying to eat my quarters, hahah). Very addicting gameplay, very cute graphics!

oh wow, 6000! did better than me haha. Thanks for playing

I got 5300 points, this is definitely a game you could find on a NES cartridge and the gameplay loop is quite addictive, good work.

Developer

thanks! 5000+ is super hard, nice job getting 5300

Easy to pick up; I would have spent a lot of time on something like this in my NES days

Developer

nice! thanks for playing

This is game is surprisingly fun because of how there were a bunch of cannons as enemies and some of them don't shoot until I get a higher score. My highscore was 4900 since it got incredibly tough at the end because of all the projectiles shooting every few seconds. It's like the game decided it's time to give me a difficulty spike. Great game overall, since I'm sure it also has a great NES feel to the game.

Developer

thanks for playing. I can make it consistently to 5000+ but also spent many hrs testing haha

My gamepad works, but only the dpad…. What would it take to get buttons working too?

Developer

I don't have a controller at hand, which is why I didn't add support. But let me try to add some experimental support.

Developer

Give it a try again. I added some experimental controller support on version 1.0.3. Couldn't get it to work correctly on web, but desktop version seem to be working correctly. I used an old xbox wired controller and added basic support to dpad, a, b, start

Success! Ahh much nessier now :)
