Thanks for the feedback! We had quite a bit of content planned originally, but we pretty quickly realized we had our hands full just with the game mechanics and assets we did make. Glad you liked it!

Thanks for playing! We had some pixel fonts, but couldn't quite get them to show up pixel-perfect, so we just added in the anti-aliasing. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing! Yeah, that's definitely a fair point. I didn't know about the limited colors thing until I saw the conversation in the Discord, and we'd already made a lot of our assets by then.

Not too bad, but could use some indicators of what's going on, like a text box that says "Survive!" or something.

Good work for what you have! I'm sad I didn't get to see the cat

Fun concept, but it was a bit buggy for me (no pun intended). It might not run very well on firefox

Interesting puzzle game! I unfortunately just finished a game jam, and I'm too tired to strategize haha

You nailed it with the NES feel of this game. The sound was really low, but once I knew it was there I turned up my speakers. Great work!

Fun premise and good start at gameplay. I ran into a problem where I couldn't jump high enough to get onto the platforms

Nailed the old timey street fighting feel. I had a Ninja Turtles NES game that felt just like this

The dance game is a lot of fun!

Mini bosses every 2 or 3 levels would really help differentiate the play, and I like your idea of biomes/environments. If you add more enemies, you should think of ways to make them feel different from each other, like charging up and dashing, or firing projectiles. Best of luck if you end up continuing!

Good work! The game wasn't too difficult overall. I felt like the levels didn't differentiate much, so I didn't have much sense of progression. I almost gave up before the end because I assumed the game was endless. Best of luck if you end up continuing the project!

High score of 186! Great work, I played more rounds of this than I expected to.

Made it to the end! Good work. I got confused with the boost the first time, I thought I needed to find another button so I could shoot the fireballs

Pretty fun, nice job!

Made it to the end with all the stars! This game is great. The level design is really well-done

Easy to pick up; I would have spent a lot of time on something like this in my NES days

Fun game! It has a well-paced game loop

Thank you!

Fun, charming, and well made. This game is an absolute delight.

Unfortunately, our ending was pretty rushed, so what you've reached is the end. I'm glad you liked it up to that point though!

I enjoyed this one a lot. It's a challenging but doable game, really well balanced. The tag-team mechanics were really well-executed. I don't know if the thief is named Bread, Breade, Brad, or Brid.

A good start, but I didn't feel much sense of progression from level to level. The movement felt pretty true to an NES top-down game

This game is really cute and heartfelt. I enjoyed the low-pressure, slice-of-life feel of it.

Fun and challenging! I loved the duck "quack quack" in the music.
