Cool art, but I'm not interested at the moment.

Hi! I'm a pixel artist, and I would like to find a partner who would be interested in developing a project using Godot 3.6. Also, your project might inspire me, and I would be open to joining it.

My main specialization is art, and in Godot I usually create small prototypes for the programmers I work with, so they can better understand the mechanics I want to add.
I also create game concepts and can make small comics and promotional materials.

For creating a small, complete commercial game, Godot 3.6 is more than enough. If desired, the project can later be exported to newer versions of the engine. I won't be able to take on a large-scale project since I have a main job.
Right now, I work as an art director. My work is mostly focused on quality control rather than drawing, but sometimes there are revisions (and reworks), which means I may not always be able to dedicate a lot of time to our project.
Nevertheless, I believe we could create a small roguelike, a metroidvania, or perhaps something with a more unique mechanic.
Also, if your project inspires me, I would be open to joining it.
My main goal is to release a finished project and create something that is more than just a recreated programming tutorial. I can also create additional art for promoting the game: short comics, stickers, line-art style covers, and other materials if needed.
I don't use voice communication and prefer not to use any other communication methods besides Discord and Google Docs.
I work with character animation and character art. You can find examples of my character work at the links below. (The animations aren't my best work, as they were created during a game jam.)
Hi! I’m a pixel artist.
You can check out examples of my work on my page: https://dedos-demos.itch.io/tensentu199x
I also have my latest project here, but I wasn’t involved in creating the UI or writing the code: https://arko-poet.itch.io/auto-mutant-turtle
I’d also like to try developing my skills as a game designer.
Hi, I’m a pixel artist working in pixel art. Here’s some of my latest work:

I really enjoyed your game as well! Funny enough, when I played it for the first time, I got stuck on the boss — that little helicopter. It was just as tough as the one in my game! The rock-throwing mechanic reminded me of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles — it felt just like something from the NES. Your love for that era really shines through from the very beginning.
Thank you for the feedback! Yes, you're absolutely right — I changed the balance at the last minute because I realized the game could be completed too quickly if the enemies dealt little damage and attacked slowly. I think that was a mistake, as it made the gameplay less enjoyable.
"So while there are strategies here to master, in further development, you might work on building out the combat mechanics so that the player feels like they can become more skillful at fighting, and can use different attacks on different types of enemies. Jump-kicks, leg-sweeps, dodges, weapon pick-ups, etc. -- the stuff I imagine from Double Dragon, Bad Dudes, Ninja Turtles, etc. , could be good additions. Just my two cents!"
Actually, much of that was already implemented, but it wasn't working correctly, so I decided not to include it in the jam version. Feel free to add the game to your collection or follow it — I'd love to keep developing it. I think a month should be enough to release a fixed and expanded version.
