This is a pretty interesting game, I like how you took on random keyboard characters as the way of hitting the moles, would make for a great educational, typing game

Very fun game, I had a blast playing it anyways!

Only minor things like the game gets very repetitive when you reach 450+ (My highscore is around 640)

Overall a very good game, please go check mine out if you've got time!

the moles are cute and fast, sometimes too fast for me xD i really like typing games, i wish i could type with my eyes closed, but that would need audio cues i suppose.

I must be honest, this was a lot better than I expected :-)  The graphics are very nice, the timing of the moles is good and the concept is better than just hitting the moles.  It should also help with your touch typing skills.  I don't know if it was deliberate, but the rarely used letters seemed rather frequent in the game :-)

Great job for the jam.  Nice one.

What a creative way to change up the whack-a-mole formula! It was fun yet challenging for me as the moles were just a little too fast for me. Maybe a difficulty setting can change the pace of the moles? Either way, really clean graphics, solid sound design, and just amazing work overall!

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it :)

Great game! I'm really bad at typing and have no form. This game has a lot of potential for teaching key placement. I was able to may a highscore by just runing my hands over the keys though :P Great visuals, Great sound, and really fun. Good job!

great concept , the game is so simple that you can understand what you have to do from the main menu yet it is so fun and challenging , i found a bug that the same key may come out twice so you only have to press the key once to have both of them .. anyway nice work!

Thanks for playing : )

If you check the game's page description it explains exactly that, think of it as a "bonus".  : D

Fun to play but it becomes uniform after 2 minutes gameplay!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for checking it out, the game was designed with a more casual playerbase in mind for the game jam, maybe after the jam I will tweak the difficulty : )

Cool, Keep going!

Lovely reaction genre game. The problem with this game is, that  the variety of the keys is way too big there should be onyl like 4-5 to choose from, so the difficuly is pretty hard. Still a nice game with lovely  graphics and audio.

Developer

Thanks for checking out my game!

If there was a lower variety of keys I think the game would become a bit tedious, most people actually find the game quite easy and most of the time the game is forgiving with the amount of time you have to press a key : )

Appreciate the feedback though : D

A real game to improve fine motor coordination, good to play, and good to trainning skills. Well done here!

Sorry I kept forgetting to get to this one man! I’m glad I finally got around to it. Seriously one of the more satisfying games to play. Like we talked about, a little more difficulty would be nice, but that’s not always the point of a game. This was a great way to gamify typing practice, and from that perspective I had fun going on for a while even knowing I wasn’t going to lose. Really well done. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for checking it out! Difficulty can be a tricky thing to please everyone, glad you enjoyed it though :)

Very cool and unique game! I loved it, it felt nice. But i suck at typing. I like the pun in the name.

Thanks for playing! : )

Well, this was a different whack a mole. I'm really thinking this could be a helpful game if you're learning touch typing or just getting familiar with your keyboard, also some dynamic difficulty change would be alright. Graphics and sounds were fitting to the game.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! The game increases the difficulty as time progresses but after sometime locks it at 2 seconds between a mole appearance, maybe I'll do some tweaking after the jam : )

Really cool game, speed is "key" ;)
