The visual design was great, loved the menus and credits scroll. The constant bouncing felt unclear if it was if it was working correctly. Also, I had initially tried to use A and D to move, only realizing later that only D worked to move right it seemed so I switched to the arrow keys. Also for the boost arrows, it was not clear whether they are always active as sometime when hit the launch high and other times they did not seem to work. It also felt hard to use the time slow effect in a productive way. I do love the concept but the controls felt hard to manage and made it hard to progress or know if I was doing the right thing. I overall like the game, I just have a lot to say since I think it has a great concept!

I love your painting style. You have great painters. If more excellent composers join, you will make the best game
Really fantastic art, and I like the idea a lot! I don't think the movement ever clicked or made sense to me, sometimes i would click and dash up, sometimes i would dash to the side and then up, sometimes pressing up on the keyboard seemed to give me greater height, sometimes it was down, I thought the rotating target things were jump boosters but they also worked very inconsistently. But that all feels like complaints that can be solved rather easily, especially with some sound to make the feedback of what's going on clearer. I really am excited to see where else this goes if you keep working on it :)
Thanks for the detailled feedback ! We sadly had issues with polishing the force manipulation and the different movements and colliders of the game, as we basically published it with half an hour of delay xD
It definitely lacks normalization and is something we want to expand deeply on !
For the sound design... We wanted to. But the connection in the train to download appropriate apps' didn't. xD
the graphics are really incredible but the game play is not very pleasant
The game is very cool with fantastic art and a great athmosphere, but I don't very like the fact that we can't stop jumping, that makes the control less good than if you could jump when we want I think. I love the fact that you made an introspective game, it's really cool idea that goes well with the theme. Good work guys !
Thanks for the feedback ! Indeed we often saw the issue with the constant jump, but we thoroughly thought its place, and we definitely haven't put enough jump power to the "passive" jump. I think it would have alleviated this feeling, but it's something we think is important, adding a strong sense of timing.
The art overall is really good but the background art is amazing! I also really like how the theme is interpreted.
I was not able to get through the game however - I got stuck on the third level and did not know where to go after all the enemies where defeated
It’s not really fun, but it’s great for such a small time that was given.
The art is amazing but the controls are wierd. You should look into making a standard platformer control system where you can manually jump and then incorporate the dash system into a 8 direction dash. A gold standard of platformers you could take inspiration from is Celeste.
You can use the arrow keys to move too, Q and D are keys used with AZERTY keyboards and we forgot that it's not the same in other countries, this will make it a little easier !
And don't worry, we know reaaaaally well Celeste but the objective wasn't to make a common platformer controller, we'll improve the game but the constant jump Doodle Jump-like was the essence of our idea and our key reference for this. ^^
Very nice art, The control mechanics were confusing to me, I felt like I was just clicking randomly.
The art is beautiful, but I couldn't grasp the mechanics, and the limitation of QD movement felt off.
your art gave other submissions a great beating! the main reason why I wanna check this out is because of the art , I'm a bad but I like seeing these kinds of submission and I truly love your art concepts , good job you and your team , you deserve a good rating thank you for this amazing submission and I hope more games from you in the future!
