We're a team of four and I'm the chicken on the team so I don't think my attempt at playing your game really did it justice. (I spent most of the time with my back against the wall so I didn't trigger anything scary...) The flare was really pretty though and I enjoyed the Aussie voice acting!
For such a little amount of time, you guys did a great job with the creepy atmosphere and made the game pretty scary! I'm not usually a big fan of horror games, but this was actually fun to play :)
This was my first VR horror game experience ever... And I almost spilled my tea from hitting the table from the jumpscare. Wow! Super spot-on atmosphere and it's super polished! Awesome work!
WOW!! one more awesome horror on this jam! Great job guys! I Also used a flashlight and dark theme in my game but not so scary)) catch the top five for a gameplay!
Holy crap, mates! I don't have enough words to explain how incredible this was, ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL.
From the full body tracking, to the smooth unfolding of narrative, to the perfectly timed audio jumps and spatializing, to the absolutely flawless optimizing, and of course, to the horrifically amazing scares.
Ngl, I stopped on my first playthrough to take a break from the adrenaline. Came back and pushed through it, and you bet your butt I started the elevator before my teammate could reach it.
I'd be pulling at straws to give any real suggestions, but the only thing I could think of is maybe adding an option to "toggle" hold the objects. But even then, it kinda added to the pressure of the situation that I had to sweaty grip my items the whole walk.
If you have a chance this week to try my game out, I would love any and all feedback to improve gameplay!!
Honestly i couldn't play the game, i was frikkin scared! This game deserve a lot! Nice Work!!
Hot damn in a few short days you made something scary enough that I could barely play it. Impressive!
Dude you wear the same clothes as me, just stand and let me do all the work, of course you deserve me pushing you off the elevator!! There's only room for me ๐
But seriously, you all owe me new pants! Well made and so polished! Kinda liked that I needed to play it twice, though second round I went the shortest route to the fuel. Did I miss any monster though? I hit the rocks event.
How did you make the caves ?
Thank you so much for playing our game! The monster is present mostly in the last sequence while you run to the elevator. If you look behind you during that sequence you can see the monster stalking and waiting for the right moment to attack. The cave was made in blender by our Modeler Calactic. He did an incredible job with it.
This was also too spooky for me, I got up to the part where you first see the monster :โ) Mechanically it was really impressive, nice work!
this is genuinely creepy, i still cant bring myself to finish it lol, great atmosphere.
wooow i just realized you made attack on quest, you my friend are directly responsible for at least 50 hrs i spent playing that game lmaoo no wonder final light is so polished :D really hope u continue developing aoq it's one of the few quest games i'd buy in a heartbeat if it had a paid release, good luck!
