How does your game utilize the limitation and theme?
SoulSnatcher utilizes the limitation of 'collectibles' by making the act of collecting Souls a core aspect of the gameplay loop. Collecting Souls is key to surviving for longer. In terms of the theme 'there and back', it is embodied in how the player can chain together attacks, quickly dashing back and forth to destroy groups of Wisps.

Really awesome and unique art style.  I can't wait to see what you implement later, because this has the potential to be really fun!  I love the concept.  Shame you ran out of time, I know how it goes.  Also hard to give feed back because I know there is probably a list of things you wanted to implement.  I hope to come back when there are updates though!  Awesome job regardless :)

I really like the game play! Not gonna lie I could play it for hours. I really hope you can find the time to work on it more cause I'd pay money.

The graphics were really good and the controls felt nice also.  You mentioned in your description that you ran out of time, and if you ever develop this game further I have a suggestion because I think at it's core this game is a great idea!  I think the camera would be helped a lot by lerping to where the reaper slashes, instead of jumping straight to the x and y position.  If it was smoothed out I think it would be less jarring.  Awesome job for a week, especially if life threw you lemons and sabotaged your planned development time!

The graphics were good, the aiming and shooting was fun but a bit nauseating (but that could be because I'm still somewhat sick :D) I stopped after 72 souls because I think there wasn't much more to do?

Hopefully next time the circumstances are better and you guys are able to finish, it will look awesome :D

The sprite used for the game cursor was not centered and it felt weird when aiming.  The Game Title looks Amazing! the art looks also very good and I agree with the rest about the dashing game mechanic. It could be expanded in so many ways and be a really great game.  Great Job

That mechanic would make for such a great game.

It's a shame there isn't more of a game in there, I could have scored it higher.

But I love the mechanic, if it had some juice and sound I probably could have lost track of time just dashing from enemy to enemy. :)

Even in it's unfinished state, the main mechanic is really fun. I could see this being really cool with some more polish.

Nice aesthetic and getting a few quick dashes in a row is quite satisfying! I felt the camera jerking suddenly was a bit disorienting at first so smoothing that out might help. One more thing that I feel would be great is enemies spawning faster so it's possible to chain more dashes together. Overall though, it's a solid entry!

this was pretty good. you could build a full game off of this mechanic. keep up the good work!

Soo. I like the graphics and the game is fun. But it gets repetitive after 2 minutes so I would add more enemy variants and the game was a bit easy. But still good work
