  • I had the biggest grin on my face while playing the intro--Seriously, amazing job!! I love the retro camera effects added a unifying (ha) element to make all of the assets look like they belonged together. And I'm a sucker for well animated text. Love, love love!

If you ever do educational content, sign me up! Really mind blowing atmosphere in that first scene.

Thank you for such wholesome feedback! I'm too much focused on my craft, trying to survive and build my own team - we're pretty close to releasing our first games on CrazyGames (then we'll move to Steam). Dunno if I'll ever do video tutorials (that would waste too much time), but I'm surely interested in making open-source games with best practices (my first would most probably be resurrection of Unity's abandoned Chop-Chop open project). You can follow me on twitter, hopefully I'll get most things set in the next year :)

Some games here in this jam felt really innovative or exude so much skill and beauty. Your game is the only one I felt I must tell my friends about.

This game evoked so many emotions and feelings in the first scene. I don’t remember any game having me so curious and excited. Dude, you deserved first place for art. :)

That was insanely fun, also difficult, but fun. The intro was kinda out there like what was that but I loved the space scene. Props for the red alert reference.

Do a barrel roll! Loved the intro, and the retrowave-like music in the space part! Awesome game!

I love the dark part in the black box. Then on my pc the fps went so low I barely saw what was going on.

The dark timeless box part is an amazing use of the assets, the visuals look great and the creature lighting up a smoke is awesome. Kudos for the submission!

Developer (1 edit)

What are your specs? Did framerate drop in the black box scene when the door (Robot Lab room) appeared? Or in space scene?

Submitted

In the dark scene everything was fine. The space scene was the problem.

Holy shit this is awesome! Really well done and amazing use of anniversary assets. By far one of the best entries I’ve seen so far!

Soo good, congratulations

This makes me nostalgic, reminds me of the first time pulling those assets from the store and try to create all sorts of adventure with it
