A little late but I uploaded a review video to youtube and your game is a part of it! Check it out here:

Thanks man! Appreciate it.

Now I understand your comment on the game before. Should've made the flashlight on from the start itself.😅

It's totally fine! Hope my feedback was helpful, look forward to seeing more from you in future jams <3

This game was interesting, and also a little creepy, though I was a little confused as to what I was supposed to do, and it also seemed really difficult. It says to collect firewood, but after I did that, I guess I was supposed to keep collecting it? I ended up dying because there were too few bushes and they barely give you any health back, so most of the game was sprinting around looking for bushes and hoping I find logs along the way.

Thank you for playing the game! There is a place in the area where you're supposed to go after collecting at least 4 logs, to set those logs you have collected-'on fire'. That's the completion point of the game. I think I should've given player an indication for where to go after collecting the logs.

Nice horror environment. I had some trouble finding all the firewood before dying. Would have been nice to have some to background music or sounds to add to the atmosphere. Congrats on submitting!

Thank you for playing the game!!

Whew!~ So I definitely got the World Record Speed run! Witnessed and certified.

However, WHY IS THE FLASHLIGHT OFF?  I'm very emotional about this because, it was hard to see.  And the the flashlight needed to be on the whole game anyway so... just turn it on!

Other than that, I really enjoyed the little game, it was pretty awesome for a first game jam game, WAY MORE PLAYABLE than my first!

Awesome work!

Thank you for playing My game!!

You can toggle the flashlight with 'F' key and make sure you're running this game on Windows.

Appreciate the World Record😉

This game has a nice atmosphere! It had the ability to create a lot of tension whilst trying to find the logs and getting health back, even though it's a small area!

The control to discard text was confusing, I'm not sure if that was meant to be there?

Really good work for your first project!

Thank you for playing the game!!😄

I was unable to run the game.. IT SAID its missing DirectX..

Great job for a fist time go! I liked the atmosphere and who doesn't like collecting firewood? I had no trouble my first playthrough but the second time I ended getting lost to where the circle was and couldn't find it before dying. So maybe some sort of indication on where to head after collecting the firewood would be helpful.

Congrats on completing a game jam and keep up the hard work and make something awesome!

Developer

Thank you very much for your reply, I will try my best next time to create a much better experience for players rather than just collecting firewood lol😛
