Quite intricate for a board game but really fun when you get the hang of it. It's quite high quality for a game made in such a short time!
I haven't played the 1.0.0.3 build yet but I'm sure it's a real appreciated bonus. Good job.

The visuals are stunning, and do a good job of conveying the feeling of playing games with Satori to pass time on a lazy day. The music is great, too. It feels super polished for a game jam entry. Gobang works nicely with the combination theme, and the original rules on hard difficult are interesting, if a little luck based. My only real complaint is that the file size is quite big: for better or worse, there are a lot of unused assets included.
I am SUPER impressed! I like strategy and puzzle games a lot and this was quite challenging! The developer deserves a lot of praise. Also cute voice for Satori. :)
in hard mode i truly had no idea what was going on but i finally managed to get a win out in normal. not sure if i can expect victory in a strategy game against a satori in the first place, though
looks cool, not sure why the games play so differently from how they normally do. anyway, i see an rpgmaker project file in here? this is actually in vx ace? that's crazy, well done
Wow, this is a great entry. I suck at it, but everything is already so complete and polished (graphics, art, sounds, music, even voice acting...) that I only have praise. My favorite thing about this is that easy/normal/hard also double as three different gamemodes, which is a really cool way to handle multiple difficulties.
This is wonderful game, I play it way too much than I should :D You did a good job.
I know time constraints limited you and you going to improve game later, but still would like to say some things I'd like to see in it:
1) Preview of figure action. Machine Gun should show 3 squares it's gonna shoot, artillery show where cross area of explosion will land, Naval Bomber explosion radius and so on. As an addition, maybe this should include pincer attack preview, so it would be easier to see that some figures don't have this attack, like Fortress.
2) Visual representation of armor on top of figure, especially when this armor gained throught Fortress. They could be represented with little blue shields somewhere on figure. Currently there is no way to see it, but remember when figure got a shield.
3) Bot (Satori) actions should have some delay, currently she places her figure immediately, which sometime makes game look chaotic and difficult to comperhend.
4) Probably difficulty should not be named that, but instead different games or gamemodes, as they change rules compared to Hard difficulty.
5) RNG should be toned down, sometime it's way too unfair. I had a game where Satori got 3 LG almost in a row. Meanwhile player's chances of getting LG is extremely low, up to making me believe it's Satori only figure, untill I got it once. I hope you will sort everything out by time you will add multiplayer.
6) Meanwhile it would be great if you add hot-seat multiplayer on one PC, that should not require a lot of work with networking, people craving for any kind of multiplayer right now.

I just can't hate this developer, it has the most amazing visuals and sound I could ask for jam entries.
I specially like puzzle games and this is my favourite so far, I kinda realize I'm bad at connect five, but still try it until I won, extreme satisfaction since AI is hard to beat.
What I didn't like is that you get the gameplay explanation on a TXT FILE, why?, I mean, no problem with easy and normal, but it just doesn't feel right to step out of the game to read the info about the pieces, I would like to have some "visual clues" like in chess, where you tell beginners how they can move using a shadow while selecting each, that way they don't have to know if they're using a tank or a fortress, even if they don't understand what they are, they still can see there's an attack pattern with each.
Still, loved it, everything is good about this one, I would just like an explanation of the story and the pieces in the game, not externally.
Keep the good work, you're one of my favorite developers on this jams.
I plan to pop up a window or a specific highlight box in each action to indicate the consequences of this action, but it takes a lot of time to write UI code, and I can't finish it within the specified time.

I play Chess competitively, and I gotta say: this was an extremely fun experience once I got past the learning curve. Nice work.
I am definitely incredibly bad at this game, but the music and cute Satori graphic keep me going

I enjoyed the complexity and difficulty of the hardest mode. I think I would’ve enjoyed it if the normal difficulty wasn’t just an expanded board, but also had some of the more basic hard piece rules, like infantry and cavalry only.
Enjoyable game, nice
This game reminds me of checkers and the ai read like all my move. Took me several tries, but the way I won was destroying his pieces. Fun and challenging game.
The difficulty may be a little too easy, after all, this AI Satori has not been trained~
Take time to customize the victory conditions, kill score and disable some arms modes, because it's too easy to win
Online game can be done, also~

抽空做一下自定义胜利条件、击杀得分和禁用部分兵种模式吧,因为只是胜利的话就太简单了

this game has perplexed even the highest of world chess champions with the funny lazytown stephanie girl with its cunning and masterful ai when i played this game i noticed that the satori knew every single move i was gonna make because she could read my thoughts so i thought about gene shalit so that's how i won also that eye has seen some shit
