Nice work. I liked the take on battle tops. The control of the top was cool. I dislike the autobattler style ones. This was much more interactive.
Its cool
Fun game! Audio is a bit buggy when colliding with the enemy, otherwise it was great :D
Really fun couldnt win after 10 minutes lmao im ass. if there was more post processing or something like close up wh en the beyblades were about to collide would have been really cool
I grew up loving Beyblade, so I'm glad to see that other people liked it just as much as I did :) The visual feedback was awesome!
From one Beyblade lover to another, well done! <3
I liked the energy when starting a fight and enjoyed the sounds and effects when they collide.
Our submission was also originally going to be beyblades! We ended up changing it though. Fun game!
You did a really good job with the juice on the beyblades colliding! The impacts felt very weighty which reminded me of the real deal. I think labels on the three status bars would've been very helpful, since it wasn't very clear to me what they represented. I also didn't notice much of an effect from the boost button, would love to see that given a bunch of heft as well! Good work, this was cool :)
Cool Beyblade-style game! The intro sound definitely added a lot of hype. Normal mode was the furthest I could get, but it was fun to play.
It's a fun game, but I think it could use a tutorial (had to look at other jammers' comments to figure out how to win). Other than that, it was very enjoyable! :]
Very satisfying to figure out how to win (couldn't tell at first) and it was a really fun time!! I'm so glad someone made this game
Heeey! This was almost what we originally went for with our sumo game. :D
It was a bit difficult to understand first, but with a little help from the comment-section I managed to beat the two easiest modes. But the two harder modes felt completely out of my reach. But I am a below average player in all games so that doesn't need to mean anything. :D
I enjoyed the solidity of it. Game loop is tight and well polished. The visuals are nice and feedback is great. It really feels like nothing was left out. A well take on the theme and controls felt satisfying as soon as I'd got the hang of them. :)
Nice work! :D
Thats good most of players dont even beat normal, i gotta do some balancing fixing
I'm a bit confused how I'm supposed to win? Like I am winning on easy mode but I don't know why.
I tried to use boost but nothing happens?
Your supposed to hold down the boost :)
I did, however I did not see a change?
then im just bad at this lol, mb
Overall its pretty good. One improvement id suggest is having a sound continue when you are clashing. theres an initial hit sound and sparks. but if you keep going head to head after that theres no noise but sparks keep flying. Overall peak bayblades
Sure ill rate urs in few minutes
I think the amount of damage you deal needs to be increased. It was quite difficult to win, even on normal mode. The controls were clean, visuals are alright, and the boost mechanic did not really increase my speed. Pretty solid work for only a week though! Especially for a solo development.
I still enjoyed this entry a good bit!
This was a neat game! Beyblades were a cool way to stick to the theme. The gameplay itself is super satisfying crashing the blades into each other is so much fun. Great game!
Bro this was actually kinda peak
9.6/10
😀Such a fun game. It brought back great memories, but it's pretty hard. I died constantly on normal mode. Guess my gaming skills are a bit rusty😅
The controls are responsive and the effects on hit are really juicy, even if it's made out of primitives. Reminds me of the stretched hit-flashes you see in JZBoy's animations. Regardless, I was unable to win Hard mode no matter what I did and the "Boost" mechanic kind of confused me. Was the damage random or was there a strategy of some kind? I guess it's funny we BOTH ended making a game about crashing into your opponent lol 5/5 for seriousness
thanks for feedback, you need more speed that oponent to deal more damage also you can pin opponent to edge of arena to deal even more bc when coliding they loose speed and spin
