I really enjoyed this game! I was surprised to hear voice lines, but I think they really added to the gameplay! Very cool submission!

Here's a cute story-driven game!

I loved this! The art style, the audio design, and just the overall vibe that this game gets across to the player is incredible! I'm sad the game isn't longer, but I think the short and sweet nature of the game is part of what makes it great, too

I really loved the art direction! I found the movement to be a little bit floaty at first, but after I got used to the controls that game was really a blast to play! It's crazy impressive that you were able to complete this in the time limit for the jam! Congrats on a very fun submission!

I love the art style. I haven't seen many other games that visually look similar to yours, so that's awesome! Same with the time travel mechanic. Very cool submission!

I really liked the cat! It added a very silly element to the game which I really loved. Very cool game!

That dealer's laugh is quite haunting! This game's atmosphere is incredible! Cool game!

This game was awesome! I loved the art! The upgrade system was also really addicting!

The music really added to the feeling of dread I felt when it was me against just one other player. Nice job!

This is a fun game! It's impressive that y'all were able to get a whole upgrade tree done! Very cool!

Yes! I didn't have a dedicated drawing software, so I drew everything in Canva!

Please try out our short game!

I loved the art! I've only seen a few games with the 2D sprites in 3D space aesthetic, so that was awesome! Very fun game!

This was a very cool experience! I thought the humor at the beginning about the coworker was very well-placed! Nice game!

This game's art is so gorgeous! I loved the main mechanic of creating threads with the symbols obtained by spinning. Very cool!

Sometimes I lost where the other carts were, but I really enjoyed the experience overall! This was a really creative take on the theme! Nice!

Hey y'all!

Here is the game that my team (Of two, including me!) made for the jam! https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4714682

We are incredibly proud of what we were able to create, especially given this is our first jam, so we're very excited to share what we have made with y'all! Please rate the game as well! I'm also really excited to see everyone's projects and how everyone interpreted the theme! Please leave the links to your games below. I can't wait to see what everyone has come up with!

Here is my team's game! Even though it's our first jam, we are very proud of what we created! I hope you enjoy!

The art was incredible! I thought the loop of healing the mill, getting upgrades, defeating enemies, all while trying to survive was very engaging!

This was a really fun experience! I loved the art style!

I liked how you incorporated more features as the levels went on! Very well executed!

This game really reminded me of Slayblade in terms of gameplay! I loved the art direction, and the progression system of unlocking new Beyblades was really cool!

This game is so incredibly polished! When I first opened it, I knew it would be good, but holy cow.  The art, the sound effects, everything was really well made and well put together! Congrats on making such an awesome game!

I think I was getting slightly too addicted to upgrading sticky notes and seeing all the multipliers and numbers go up... I was so sad to see it end so soon. This was such a fun experience with awesome visuals and sound effects!

The art was really awesome! I found the arrow key mechanic to be challenging, but fair after a few tries! Congrats on a very cool submission!

There was so much to this game that I loved! I loved the simple black and white art style, the sound effects were on point, and the controls were all easy to understand and get the hang of. Congrats on a very cool game!

The art style was very cool! I love the original DOOM games, so it was awesome to see a game reminiscent of them for this jam! Nice!

I was a bit confused at first, but once I got the hang of the controls I really enjoyed it! The voice acting really helped with the immersion, too!

This was a fun game! I liked the art!

This is such a unique and cool idea, and I love the silly concept! The pixel art was incredible!

Kudos to you for creating a great game environment and loop! The looking around mechanic was very satisfying to use to spot my coworkers. There were a few times I laughed out loud because of the art, so congrats on an awesome jam submission!

I really enjoyed this one! I saw the title in the submissions page and immediately knew I had to try it out. I loved the art, and the controls felt very responsive. Congrats on a seriously awesome submission!

I loved the dialogue with the characters, the art, and the sound design! I haven't seen many other games as ambitious as this one for the jam, so congrats on an awesome submission!
