I'd be interested to know what browser you're using to run the game.
If you're using Google Chrome, make sure you have enabled "Use graphics acceleration when available" in Settings/System.

We would love it if you could try our game :)

I really like the art in this game.
The motion of the ui keeps the screen from getting stale and the wobble on the spinning tops is very satisfying!
The music is clean and very thematic.

I also enjoyed being able to modify/add to my party to change my build.

Well done, this is a well-produced game.

You should be very proud of yourself!
I fought the big red boss ball (he almost trapped me in the hole, but I got 'em)
And then I acquired the hat. The ball looked very dapper in the hat.

Well done.

I like the trade-off of potentially hitting the edge by destroying/bouncing off enemies.
The mechanics are solid, and the cat is super cute <3
I like the way they wiggle up and down.

The art for the cards and text is very charming.
I enjoyed getting upgrades and feeling more and more powerful.

This is a very visually interesting game.
I really liked the transition effect.
I found the controls a little to sensitive and the margin for error too tight.
The core concept though, is pretty cool. Well done.

I love the Duck character. The idea of him flapping a sword around is adorable.

The speed, however, is a little too much for me. I found it frustrating to try to collect pickups or even go through doors.

This has the bones of an awesome 'Hotline-Miami-like' game.

I've seen a few survival games like this and this one stood out due to its clean/digital style.
Your UI design is clean, intricate, and reads well most of the time.
As you mentioned in your description, the Web build does lag a little, but it was still fun.

I always enjoy a good platformer.
This idea is solid. Collectables are well hidden, and the paths are well designed.
Overall, a great submission. (I loved the small sleeping hamster. Very cute <3)

I really love the clean art style.
At first I was a little confused how to play the game but I eventually got the hang of it.
I did find it far easier to just wiggle my mouse 90% of the time.
Maybe a full rotation could have 'reloaded' 1 use of the tools. Then you could bounce back and forth between reloading and using the tools. That way, the 'spin' wouldn't have negatively impacted the use of the tools.

This is a super solid concept!
I really enjoyed the cute characters and vibe <3

HAHA OMG!
I love this game.

At some point the firework particles just stopped playing (thankfully, cuz they were starting to lag the game)
I'm currently at about $462,596,000,000,000 and climbing!
PUT IT ALL ON RED!

notes if you'd like them:
I didn't know what the upgrades did at first (A description would help). Someone unfamiliar with roulette might not understand how to play.

Nice one! I love how goofy it feels (in a good way)

As others have said, the controls are a bit glitchy, but I enjoyed the core mechanic.
Nice submission.

It took me a little bit to get the propeller spinning, but once I got the hang of it, it was pretty good.

I think the propeller was a little glitched.

Overall, a fun concept. Well done!

This is honestly a surprisingly well-balanced game with the current AI and the mechanics are designed well.
I found myself ducking in and out of cover while managing my resources.
Also, one of the better implementations of the "Spin your mouse around the character" mechanic.

Well done. This is very good for a first finished project!

How dare you make me jump into that abyss for an apple! :P
That last level was evil.
Snappy controls and a nice mechanical trade-off between speed and height.

I think the number of levels was perfect for a Game Jam. Glad I got to see it all.
I really enjoyed this submission, well done!

I didn't realize for a while that you can drag to throw the tornadoes (if you're in a colored area)
Once I found that out, I was smashing and bashing my way through all the houses.

An interesting concept. Good submission. :)

I DID IT!

Sick beats, fly moves, and a surprisingly realistic story.
This short game was a lovely tale of how a community of people (and cars) can change the world.

Thanks for this experience <3

I like the bounciness of the player. He's so squishy!
I found some of the spinning platforms were a bit glitchy.
It added to the already tricky platforming.

A fun experience, well done.

Dat wizard sure do spin.
I liked all the effects and the intensity when getting dizzy.

I enjoyed evolving my build as I progressed through the game and I really enjoyed the feedback when collecting balls.
Definitely hit the 'Addictive Slot Machine' vibe for me.

I think some more complex choices would have been nice. A lot of the time I was just picking the biggest number.
Maybe if you could trade balls to re-roll a lane, or exchange balls for temporary bonuses?

Anyway, lots of fun. I enjoyed collecting all the balls :D

A nicely crafted game.

I would have liked to have seen some feedback when the player is hit (I didn't realise I was losing health).
Also when selecting upgrades some feedback would be good too. I didn't realize I was spending my tasty candy until I ran out :'(

That being said, there was a good amount of content for a Game Jam game.
I liked this one.

The art is nice.
Ran around the maze for what felt like forever, but I just got lost.
Might be worth posting the solution to the maze for people who don't have time.
There are so many Jam games to play. Sorry :)

Shame, it looked like this one was gonna be a good one.

This game uses a REALY interesting control scheme.
I both love and hate it (in a good way).

I wish I had known the layout of the controls before picking my shape, but maybe that's just me.
The chance of picking a shape that definitely doesn't work is also kinda fun.

A unique idea executed well.

This game has very cute art.
I had some trouble figuring out what I was supposed to do at first, but I eventually figured it out.

A very cute, slightly frustrating, cozy sorta game. I like it.

Haha, I love the voices!

This concept is so strange, but it works quite well.
I found it hard to see how much health I had (maybe a bar for the player's health would have been easier to see).

Never thought I'd say this, but I enjoyed shooting turtle guns with my gun turtle. 🐢

What a fun way to interpret the theme.
Those bony fellas sure do be spinnin!

The way we did it in this project is by setting Time.timescale.
We used DoTween in this project so I just used a tween to slow it down. (Smooths the slowdown effect a bit)

I found that slowing down timescale caused stuttering in the motion of the blades, so I also slowed down FixedDeltaTime proportional to the timescale.
The Unity docs describe how to adjust FixedDeltaTime  while adjusting timescale
-> https://docs.unity3d.com/2021.3/Documentation/ScriptReference/Time-timeScale.htm...

I hope this helped <3

ps. Adjusting the timescale also slows down the audio so we got a speed ramp sound for free ;)

I liked being able to adjust my character's potential actions per turn.

Overall, a fairly well-crafted experience.

I got up to the 1,2,3 interaction and then my head exploded in real life.
This is a fun game. It constantly had my eyes dashing across the screen.

This "Plate spinning" type of gameplay worked great.

This game has an interesting art style.
I would make a terrible fun-police-person.

There is so much going on in this game (I think I went cross-eyed tryna catch everything)

I really enjoyed all the characters and the vibe.
Such a cute game about people splatting on the ground XD

The art for this game looks nice.
I found the voice pretty distracting, also I was a little unsure if I could shoot or not (Maybe I missed it in the tutorial ).
I wanted to try the tutorial again but I couldn't find an option to.

The gameplay is fun and I enjoyed the art and theme. Good job.

I spent most of my time in this game sniping goblins from across the room.
Very satisfying.

I liked the fact that I could cancel my grapple whenever I wanted.
This is a surprisingly good combat puzzler.

This game uses the theme fantastically.

The wheel you build yourself is a great way for the player to express themselves.
The constant flow back and forth between combat and upgrades was very well executed.

I loved that when I died it spun a wheel to potentially  bring me back. This is good randomness!
Only receiving either positive or neutral effects from the wheel is very smart.
Too many of these games just kill your run on a coin flip.

Well designed and well made.

This is a very charming game. I enjoy the vibe of the text instructions.

This puzzle game is challenging and at times stressful.
I enjoyed every second of it.

Haha, thanks! We didn't realize it was gonna be such a common theme.

Glad you enjoyed ours though ;)
