I greatly appreciate everyone involved in this effort, thanks to everyone for submitting to me!

This made me uncomfortable in the best way, good shit y'all!

Heya, my name is Mya. I'm a 20-year-old composer, SFX artist, and audio engineer based in Dallas Texas.

I currently play 13 instruments, my main strong point being jazz improvisation (especially on piano).

I've made 200+ songs across 15+ genres.

I mainly make vocal + bossa nova, electronic, and lo-fi music, but I'm versatile across any genre out there. (You can check out my itch.io page and see what stuff I've been working on throughout these last few jams)

So far, I’ve finished 7 game jams, won 3 (4 if you count just audio), and every other i've placed really high in audio.

I don't work in any specific game engine, since I mostly work with sound. I've yet to learn audio implementation, but maybe this jam is the time I take a crack at that!

For this jam, I know there are pre-existing audio assets, but for those interested, I'd love to make some killer sound for your game.

If you'd like to work with me, shoot me a dm on discord!

phenominal work everyone. Just saw this from a post made in juniperdev's discord server. I'm quite enamored with Samir's jazz influence on the OST.

every single one of you cooked HARD on this project.

Thank you for playing!!

Thanks!! I appreciate ur comments on the music and SFX. We're definitely thinking about adding a racing map + some other gamemodes (perhaps multiplayer)

Extremely polished and well made entry. The puzzles were well thought out and had very solid progression to it. I like how much mental math i had to do, kept me on my feet. Really good work!

YIPPIE I'm glad you enjoyed it. Our team made sure to add potato graphics options and other optimizations so it could run on lower end devices (like mine).

Thank you!!!

You can win! Glad you enjoyed though :D

beat it again

I beat ur record 😏

Thank you so much!!!! Also I struggle to survive the full 6 minutes too. Def a lot longer than people think.

In regard to the music, I took heavy inspo from Ultrakill, drum & bass tracks, and jazz-synth wave fusion to pull the soundtrack together. Had a blast working on this one!

We’re hoping to add skin customization in the future!

Thank you for playing!

Thank you for your feedback!!! We have some variation for hitting other spinners depending on your velocity, but I might change those a a bit to sound more distinct.

thank you!! And yes I agree, multiplayer is high priority on our list of things to add

we hope to add multiplayer!

Visuals are so peak.

KITTYYY. 10/10

Very silly I enjoyed this one a lot

art is crazy solid. I see lots of potential in this game.

I LOVE SPACE GAMES YESSSSS. this is peak

thanks for your feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed our entry

fellow beyblade game!! Solid work!!

Thank you for your feedback! Super glad you enjoyed our game :D

Thanks!!!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm really glad you enjoyed our game, especially the sound. I had loads of fun on that end :D

Thank you!!! Super glad you enjoyed playing and enjoyed the music. We're hopefully going to get some updates in the future with more quality-of-life.

Thanks! I enjoyed making the soundscape for the game quite a lot :D my teammate's cooked hard on the rest

Thank you for playing!

I can understand that for sure. The controls are a little strange at first, and we will probably add keybind inputs for that in the future if we continue working on this game!

Hoping to have more variety in future updates! If we had 2 weeks for this jam, we'd have gotten some more stuff for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for your thoughts on the music as well. I had so much fun working on the sound.

Glad you enjoyed playing :D

Thank you!!! Having a dash on the scroll wheel both adds to the theme and makes it convenient for you to have inputs on your mouse. I'm really glad you enjoyed the game.

Thank you for your kind words and detailed feedback! Since we only had a week, we were mostly just focused on core mechanics and some of the gameplay. We're planning on having multiplayer modes, different maps and game modes, reworking enemy AI, and polishing the gameplay loop to make it more fast-paced and action-packed (in the case that development continues and we perform well for the jam).

Also, I'm with you; parkour would be CRAZY fun. I brought that up to my team about that one too.

Lastly, thank you so much (in regards to the audio)!! I had a BLAST making the OST and sounds. I was told to go for something Ultrakill-like and wanted to combine that with light jazz fusion inspo/synths. I'm definitely going to make more music and focus on pure synthwave for.

Hoping to polish this more in the future and create some fun action for players. Happy jamming!

Also thank you! I had a very fun time working on the audio

Yes! We're hoping to add more variety in enemies, game modes, and items in the future, if this game performs well.

Super glad you enjoyed the audio!

I honestly love the 1-bit art style and cookie-clicker style narration. Super fun incremental game. Solid work for your first game jam man!

No game sadly
