Simple game, but very well made! I included it in part 1 of my Public Domain Jam 2 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) https://youtu.be/xbZmIYuD92U

The difficulty does increase, or at least it should. If I were to make changes though I'd probably increase the amount of ladies falling off at the same time instead of increasing the speed. The current version is not very gravitationally realistic.

Really simple, and it would have helped if the difficulty increased over time, but the strange combination of the background noise, splatting of old ladies, and minimalist visuals created a surreal experience.

Absurd. In a good way.

Splat animation is great; with more pixels it might look a tad disturbing, but in this low-rez it has a cartoony shel silverstein vibe.

Simple mechanic but pretty darn fun.

Hahaha this was fun, and considering the source material, quite accurate ^^ But yeah I had to check the source material to understand the game properly, so as some have said, maybe add some quotes at the beginning at the game, then some other quote when the player fails, could be a nice way to wrap things up ;)

Considering the source material, this game moves from macabre to comedic (after all, they're all just leaning too far! Stop it ladies!). The game is short and sweet, simple mechanics that work well. Perhaps some more context would help, a few lines from the source material etc. But it did make me go hunt the source down so :)

The splatting animations made me uncomfortable, heh.

LOL! After going and reading Plumetting Old Women, I get it!

Short and sweet. I ended up reading a bunch of his stories ;)

The old-ladies falling and "splatting" animation is also very smooth and well done. (What an awkward thing to comment! But it's true! :D)

I liked the dedication at the end. Honestly, this game was pretty easy; the reason I got game over was b/c I got distracted. I didn't know whether I had to catch the old ladies or avoid them, so my first score was around 1. Both the story and the game make me go, "What the heck did I just play/read?", so you succeeded in that regard. Also, I like the art style. Minimalist, but nice. :)

(I'm also in this jam, btw, with my game HummingBird Haunting. Check it out? I'm eager for feedback: norbez.itch.io/hummingbird-haunting)
