challenging and relaxing at the same time

Thanks for playing and commenting!

Nice game! Very relaxing but the timer definitely adds another level. It be cool if there was a 'peaceful mode' without a timer and a 'Hardcore' mode with the timer :3 But I loved the concept! great job

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and replying! There should be beyond plenty of time even with the timer. Tbh, the timer is just there to provide the illusion of a challenge lol. However, having an option to have the timer enabled or disabled perhaps in the settings is a good idea that can be considered for sure.

This was a lot of fun. It's somehow relaxing and also somewhat frantic, with the spawn of wildflowers being just right so there's always something to do without it getting overwhelming. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and commenting! I am glad to hear the pacing was balanced as I had hoped. It's a simple, mind-numbing game where players don't have to think much:)

The pacing was great, I never felt like I was waiting for something to happen. It would have been nice to either have more orders come in in the day or have an indication that you could end the day early because there would be no more orders. Day 1 I was just waiting and collecting and was able to do day 2 in no time. You did such a good job on Doobie I also think it would have been great to have him pop back up at the end of the day to tell me I did mediocre.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! True, I should make the no more order thing more obvious. I had a lot more planned for Doobie including what you mentioned, but ran out of time😭

The time boss was by far the hardest. We also had a bunch of art assets made that we tragically didn't get to use :(

This is a fun casual game.  I think it's silly fun that the player is reverse growing plants.  The are all looks good, but could be improved with some animations.  Also, some icons would help with the items you have.  However, the simple management of clicking through the different actions is nice and rewarding.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing and commenting! I agree on the animations and its is something I will look into learning. Good idea about the icon! I will definitely do that.

This is probably the most unique interpretation of this theme I've seen so far. Super creative, and the visuals are simply adorable. Very zen game, I feel like I could play it to go to sleep... that's a major compliment, of course! Great stuff!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and replying! I really appreciate the kind words. And yesm, comfy vibes<3

Interesting idea, never saw reverse seeds anywhere else. Dragging the cloud back and fort made the plants ungrow very fast so it felt satisfying.

Are some types supposed to be rare or am I very unlucky? (I got like <5% D types)

Developer

Thanks for playing and replying! The seeds are completely randomized, but I have also noticed there will be a seed type that is randomly super rare. Perhaps, I should attach percent chance to each type instead of just random.

Very addictive game! The concept is fun! It took me a while to realize I had to water (or is it unwater?) the plants. The small square is not that readable.

Developer

Hehe, yeah it is water the plants. Thank you so much for playing and replying! I tried my best to make sure the text is readable, but forgot to update the indications for water. Either a clearer tutorial and/or clearer art would probably be more user friendly.

Great game!  It's an interesting idea to grow seeds backwards.  It was super chill and you did good keeping the scope of the game within the timeframe of the jam.  It seemed playable and fun to me.  Anything I could suggest you probably already know about.  Nice work!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and replying! If you have any suggestions or advice, I am happy to recieve them. It doesn't bother me at all even if I am aware of the problem as long as the intention is constructive. It will simply reaffirm that I should put that specific issue at the top of my list. Especially if you notice any bugs! I am quite new and still learning as I go.

Absolutely!  Like I said, given the context of a 48 hour jam I think this is a great entry.  A few things I noted: some things that could help would be progress bars for the seed detectors.  Some of the icons near the plants that needed water weren't entirely aligned in a way that made it obvious which plant needed the water.  I think your tutorial was great.  Without it I probably would have been lost for some time, so thank you for putting some effort into that.

Developer(+1)

Good Idea. I will definitely keep that in mind if I update the game or just in general to make things more obvious and user-friendly. I'm glad you like the tutorial:)
