I think there could have been a bit more lighting but that’s just me, in the beginning mainly. I really like the spooky purple monster designs reminds me of pokemon but evil, and beginning cut scene a lot. Particle effects were cool too. Puzzles were cool as well. Great job on the game jam!!! and I wish you two luck on the game jam!!!

I was able to finish it :)

image.png

I could not figure out this game XD Nice job on the game jam though and I wish you luck on the game jam!!!

Oops, I meant a description of controls or UI screen explaining the controls. I thought there be a key to shoot, but it was just click, haha.

I unlocked all the pockets!!! Very nice game here, I kind of wish there was a way to win? Uh, the Pickaxe became a bit useless after a while I just spammed TNT lol. Very neat art here, nice music but it was a little annoying having to go back and forward with it restarting :( and nice mechanics!!! Great work on the game jam and I wish you luck on the game jam!!!

Also, the thumbnail is neat! and just the pockets overall :) Mining to put lint in your pockets heh.

Thank you for playing and the feedback! Definitely will need to put colliders on objects, and be more careful of making things not look interactable. Whoa! 0:53 SECONDS? Idek how you guys are so quick XD

I haven’t said this but every time you mine it gets faster as you progress, and you’re meant to get ‘slower’ each time you mine BUT the speed honestly doesn’t look like you’re getting slower, I didn’t have enough time messing around with that sadly.

Anyways, thanks for playing and you currently have the highest record time of beating the game hehe.

The music, art and physics are really cool here.

I couldn’t really figure out how to play! Lol

Great job on the game jam and I wish you luck on the game jam!!!

Omg this game was icredible…

The art was amazing here, the UI elements and just everything. It was a lil confusing at first of how to play I would say ‘Pocket coins/objects’ since I was trying to push all the objects into the hole at first XD and I was like wth?? this is impossible. This was such a creative game. The music was also amazing like jesus. You guys really out done yourselves. Props to you for getting this done within 3 days guys. I was so relieved when winning! was on day 0 at the last few seconds

Also the thumbnail is so funny hehe and the description saying he was gonna wake up when reading it, and the mouse animations when they picked up the objects XD Humor was great here.

Amazing job on the game jam and I wish you guys luck on the game jam!!!

Thank you for the feedback and playing!

Ah, yeah, I’m always having issues with the sprites DX Next time I’m just going to add colliders. I thought the order layer was fine but apparently not, I know about it already lol. I just never know what should be Infront and what should be in back ig. Should be super simple but I just never know!!!

Thanks again!

Oh wow! You beated someone by one second! Yep, this game was meant to be super simple here.

Thanks for playing and the feedback! I love it when seeing people finish the game!!! I appreciate the nice comments!!!

Thanks for playing and the feedback!!!

Thanks for the feedback! I did rush the furnished items toward the end, so some things (like the lamp) ended up way too big. When you mentioned the sprites clashing, did you mean there were too many items on screen, or were you referring more to the color palette or style differences? I read your comment a few times and just want to make sure I fully understand what you meant.

There was more planned for this game, but we got a late start sort of and just it was rushed. Me and my teammate did like 3 game jams in a row this being the third.

Anyways, thanks for playing! and the feedback I appreciate it!

Hehe, played yours and it was great! It’s cool to see how we went different routes :) Thanks for playing and the feedback!!!

Thanks for pointing out that bug and I’m sorry it caused you frustration/made you went insane. Normally I make sure the game is working properly but this game was very rushed.

Yeah, I didn’t really think people would get confused with the TNT. It wasn’t my idea to add it but next time I’ll communicate with my teammate more about ‘interactable’ looking objects for the player doesn’t get confused. This is the first time it’s happened, so it’s good to know about it.

Anyway, thanks for playing! and the feedback!

When blue killed red, red won and when red killed blue blue won? Might have been a mix up. Not very sure here.

It was ambitious to make this a two-player game but next time, maybe stick to one player. Especially it being a 3-day game jam, but that’s just my opinion don’t take it from me! You do you! I love how you focused on the UI elements of changing controls, also the audio, and just overall it seemed like you were trying out things here.

Fun cool little graphics, nice job on the UI it can definitely be improved on with some art, and mechanics besides the mix up of who won the game…Also level one you couldn’t win only the second level.

Also, the music was neat here :)

Anyways good job on the game jam! and I wish you luck on the game jam!!!

image.png

Controls definitely took some getting used to and can probably be explained better. I feel like if you used A & D, it would have been easier, but I think this was done on purpose, so I give you props for doing something unique

Love pocket sized things! I was thinking of doing something with pocket size things like pennies, marbles. So, its nice to see someone actually did that so far you being the first one I’ve seen.

Anyways, this was a fun game! and I beat it! Woo-hoo!

Nice job on the game jam and I wish you luck on the game jam!!!

image.png

I felt tempted to try because the visuals looked cool from you screenshots, normally I don’t download stuff but decided to give this a try :)

First off, the level design here is very nicely done, feels like a big-time game from some company.

I think some controls could be explained. I was having a hard time figuring out what to do? Like maybe an explanation saying, ‘click to throw mouse!’ Or even a simple screen with controls or explain them somewhere.

The cut scene of the lizard was really cool to see implemented and the animations were funny.

I like how you included a way to actually win in this game.

I kept wondering ‘can I open these chest?’ Kept trying to tap E first then when figuring out how to throw the mice I clicked on them XD

I love the ambience and drip sound effect.

Overall, nice job on this. I wish it was a webGL for you can get more attention. Next time try to do that :) Good job on the game jam and I wish you luck on the game jam!!! Plus future ones!!!

40 mice left with the escape :)

image.png

UI is great, mechanics are cool, and I like the concept! Very complex thinking game of how to use your spells, which moves you make and etc Cool you added lore and story! Great work on the game jam!!! and I wish you luck on the game jam!!!

Really impressive you were able to get this done within 3 days on your own.

The art is very cool love the green aesthetic (Green is my favorite color particularly forest green) and retro vibe.

Menu is cool too, love the little animation and shades of green.

The music is cool as well, fits the game well.

As for mechanics this is awesome! It would have been so cool if the gems were to merge together like those games? I feel like that’s where you got the inspiration from.

I can see the very similarity to my game from your comment XD I literally was gonna make a pocket inventory sort of like yours in a way but didn’t have enough time to create the art or ask my partner to make it sadly…

I think this concept is so cool, just if the gems were to merge together, I think the game would last longer since it was very short. Also, it be cool to have it where if you mine all the little piles, you would like to win the game entirely but that would involve lots of playtesting obliviously.

My highest score was like 129 I think, it was hard to screenshot it since it would go to menu quickly. Maybe next time have a button? because when I went to screenshot, it would go to menu since it says to click “any button” to get restart the game, lol

Overall, great job on the game jam!!! and I wish you two luck on the game jam!!!

A small bug I ecnountered (the diamond would wig out/jitter when trying to be placed like this) :

image.png

Very difficult controls. I love the art a lot! and movement feels really good here. Music is good here too. My favorites was the avatar and blue litte flame dudes. Also, I love the UI menu screen a ton. Great job on the game jam and I wish you guys luck on the game jam!!!

I love the art my favorites were the white rose, rabbit and cat. I can tell this is inspiration from Alice and wonderland! I think the only thing it was missing was a greenery background full of trees, grass etc. The game was a little confusing to figure out at first of what kind of teas to make sometimes(took me a bit to understand how to play), but the writing was clever! I wish there was a little checkmark or X to see if you got the tea right or wrong :) Anyways, great job on the game jam and I wish you two luck!!! The art must of been so time consuming kuddos

Also the thumbnail was super cute! (Also I was expecting to see a caterpillar :P but you did awesome including most characters hehe)

Also, I did make it to the end!!!

image.png

Very well done on this game! I wish there was a way to empty your wallet. Cute graphics, chill music and very nice mechanics here! Great job on the jam and I wish you luck on the game jam!!!

Fun game! Idk but I began to sweat and Ig I was experiencing motion sickness :( Couldn’t find the last one because of that. Great work anyways and I wish you luck on the game jam!!!

Now I feel a tiny bit better. The Mechanics are cool, I love the smash head one. The art is funny and has charm and overall like the concept. Just needs a better camera and this game would be very fun. I wish there was a jump button :> and that’s all. Nice job on the inventory btw.

image.png

This was kind of hard to play but might be a me thing. I like the concept, the graphics are cute and UI is displayed well. Could use some controls? but I think its just WASD and a clicker game? Not sure. Great job overall! I wish I got the hang of the game better. I couldn’t figure out if there was a different key to shoot the nails. Great job on the game jam and I wish you luck on the game jam!!!

Gotta, say I love this game a lot. I feel like you guys probably had more ideas of like showing how many waves you’re on but didn’t get to complete it.

Love the cute sprites, concept, mechanics are great! Great job on this and I wish you luck on the game jam!

Calm peaceful game liked the ambience of the dripping stone, and it feels very retro/old game by the art style and how the game works. I do wish there was more lighting since it was a bit hard to navigate. Maybe some glowing mushrooms? or crystals? Would have been cool to see maybe a pond included :) Impressive work for only doing this by yourself. Great work on the game jam and I wish you luck on the game jam!

I ate 23 butterflies :butterfly:

image.png

Very frustrating game :( I really wanted to beat the game, but it feels kind of impossible. I got to like the 4th level? and got stuck here. I wish there was a health or check point mechanic. Reminds of Cuphead difficulty which I love about.

The concept is really cool! I love the avatar of the flame! Level design is impressive as well, and this is impressive of finishing within 3 days kuddos to you. Was this the last level? the one I was stuck on? or was there more?

image.png

Nice game here! I think the only thing it’s really missing is waves or to see how long you can survive aka time, to see how far you can get! The art is cute, the mechanics are great, and I think this game could definitely be expanded on. I also love the music it’s not annoying and fits very well. Good work everyone here! I wish you luck on the game jam and Great job on the game jam!

My favorites were the little fire and block guys rawr! Haha

image.png

Wow this is a charming game! Love the subtle footsteps when walking, charming art, mechanics, UI and everything! I wish there was a score system to see where you’re at during the game. I did try a few times trying to get to 30K, and somehow did really good on my second round. My first time playing I got 29280 but when I kept trying to play My score was going down? Lol idk how the scoring system works. Anyways, amazing job on this game jam and keeping it pocket sized. I really hope you get top 3 or even first place tbh. This definitely will bring back memories of kids playing in the dirt (I wasn’t that kid, but I know there’s a lot out there!) Amazing work on the game jam again, and I wish you luck on the game jam!

image.png

Ahhh!! Cool! my only suggestion here is that I think, there could have been a little tab showing what those indicate! or maybe I missed it, but other than that great work!

Cute simple calming game. Cute graphics! Kept the scope very small props to you and pocket sized indeed. Great job on the game jam and I wish you luck on the game jam!!!

(1 edit)

Definitely pocket sized! Art style is unique and cute! Made it to layer 4 :) Wasn’t sure if there was a win condition here and what the doors do? Also, what were the chest for? Very job well done on the game Jam! and I wish you luck on the game Jam!

Thank you for playing and the feedback! If you go up to the TNT and press ‘E’ you die :D Just kidding!

TNT was just a prop! No special mechanic there, sorry for the confusion.

Thanks again for playing and wish you luck with your game jam, I will rate and play yours soon!

Thank you, for playing and the feedback!

Inventory was meant to be way smaller than it was. Was going to create a literal ‘Pocket’ and I wanted to add different ore but didn’t have enough time sadly.

Definitely needed more time! and you probably are the fastest to escape! Thanks for playing a few times, love it when seeing people beat the game I created :) Thanks for the feedback anyways.

Thank you for playing and the feedback! Definitely will keep this in mind when creating games. Thanks for completing the level! Love it when people are able to finish the games I created :)

1 - We did have a different stone variant but didn’t get to add it in. 2 - Forgot colliders and I was in a rush, but thanks I’ll definitely keep this in the back of my head.

Thank you for playing! and your feedback! Definitely agree with needing a longer jam.

This game is highly addicting. I love the small space your trap in, with only the light surrounding you. The cute graphics and anticipating music as you play. The different type of ores. Can definitely see this on a phone being a mini game! Very well done on this game jam and the scope is incredibly scoped nicely. Good Job on this game Jam and I wish you luck on the game Jam! Here’s my highscore..I think? Not sure tbh I kept playing a lot lol.

Thank you, sourmelon will appreciate your comment! And sadly the inventory was just to show your gold count. If we were to expand this game, there would have been different types of ore but time was short! So yeah, also we would of changed the inventory to something much simpler but time was short :( I wanted to create a literal ‘pocket’ inventory but time again was so short, sigh.

Thankyou for showing your escape! I always love it when people complete the game :>

Huh, that’s weird. Did you walk up to a gold pile holding down E? There’s a little loading bar above the gold piles. If you go right, there’s a gold pile. Everything else was props.

This definitely would of been for a longer jam..and thank you very much, Was very stressed on this jam

I like the tiny, cute sprite and mining mechanics. Very nice job pulling this off in 3 days man. I died by some ghost monster lol. The music was nice too.
