It was hard to find all the parts in this labyrinth, but I managed it 🐄. If only someone could give me a map of this place. I also found an invisible block in one spot that hinders movement 🙀. And lastly: why is the cat friends with the cow? 😺

Music was good but a bit repetitive after playing for too long. Game play and art style are both very solid. Good job!

Best story telling so far. Good game.

Very good art, music and atmosphere. Combat felt a little weird and I too got lost in the maze until I hit the fullscreen button. Nice game, well done!

I like the art style and the BGM for the game. The concept for the narrative is also interesting. I spent quite a bit of time lost in the maze and it wasn’t very clear when my attacks were effective or when I was taking damage. I think one thing that could improve the game is maybe adding a counter for how many pieces left to find to have some indication of progress since a good chunk of the time is spent just wandering around. All in all it is an interesting game! Good work!

I resurrected Mooncer!! Overall, fun game. I think the only major issue, as many others pointed out, was the interface. Having a progress bar or count of how many parts you've collected plus how much are left needed to resurrect Mooncer would've been nice, I kinda just navigated through every part of the maze to make sure I wasn't missing anything before moving to the next part, without fighting any of the enemies to save time.

Also as Lloyd Garmadon mentioned with the hearts, at first I wasn't able to notice as I collected them since my eyes were busy navigating the maze and that health bar is pretty small, but when I focused on it I was able to tell an amount was increased when the hearts were collected. Making the health bar bigger would help for sure! And maybe showing something when you get damaged as well.

Overall though this is a fun game! I'm a big fan of mazes :D I love the pixel art style a lot, these characters are cute!

Thanks for playing and I'm glad you had fun! and yeah I think participating in this jam has highlighted that I need to learn how to develop a UI system so everything can be clearer.  I spent a lot of time developing the maze from scratch so I'm glad you liked it!

Nice game! Love the concept of bringing someone back from the dead by gathering the parts! I think some of the hearts weren't bringing up my health? Unless if it was very unnoticeable or maybe it's just me :(

I did the same thing by just avoiding the enemies by running past them instead of fighting after the second round because the first time I didn't have all the parts for mooncer, so I think the idea about keeping track of how many parts you have will help a lot! It either being a small inventory to open up or on the corner/middle down of the screen somewhere! Overall loved the art/animation/audio and concept :3

I like the art style but its hard to tell when the bad guys where taking dmg, good concept.

Great little game. I loved the art style, the story, the music. Excellent.

I agree with Ninjaxim (for not the first time in this jam as a matter of fact) that some indication of which parts I had would be nice to know. Also, I couldn't tell when the bad guys were attacking me, so I kinda just stopped fighting them and ran past them instead. It was safer.

Other than those two things, loved the game.

Good luck with the jam.

Thanks for the feedback! There are definitely some features I'd like to add eventually and I'm taking notes on improvements from comments. This was not only my first jam but first game as well, so I'm pretty happy with what I got done!

After like 10 minutes of wandering around I hit the fullscreen button which helped me actually navigate the maze haha. Mooncer lives once again!

The art is really cute. I wish there was a map and also some indication that I have collected all of the mooncer pieces. Nice game!

Thanks for playing! and that's a great point about full screen. I'll update the description to mention it's easier to navigate in full screen mode.

Hey, I managed to resurrect Mooncer :D my favorite was the art style, the cute little pixel cat. I wished I could move faster, maybe a run, but I enjoyed the demo :) Great job!

Thank you! I put a lot of time into animating the characters so I'm glad you liked them!

Super Cute! Love the artstyle. I think something to let me know the number of parts I've collected out of the total number of parts needed would be the cherry on top for me personally. Cool interpretation of the theme and use of the special object!

Developer(+1)

That's a good idea! For now I might just add how many parts to collect in the description, but I'll add a counter to an update after the jam. Thanks for playing!
